Help me get out of gold 5!

Lolking me and tell me how bad I suck or whatever you want. I honestly don't know what to do anymore. I'm trying to see my own mistakes, but it's really difficult.

How do I help other lanes if I'm playing top? I can't do it without losing so much...and then my "help" is basically wasted. My teammates are legitimately bad. I don't rage at them. I just try and play the game I've learned through guides and streams etc. I try and suggest the right thing to do, but they never do it.

I don't really get what I am supposed to do if my loses are legitimately because of my teammates.

If you want to help other lanes, take teleport.

I don't know if my advice is the best, but with my help I can get you out of gold and into silver in no time! But really, I think at some point it's not about your build and simply about your extending or worries. A lot of people tend to do things like fret over inner turret or outer turrets that might fall when they can be pushing. If you just work on your mechanics and positioning you'd be golden. Try watching some people around plat rank and how they position/engage. Also, if you're top laning you're generally going to want to grab teleport. With a proper build and masteries you won't need ignite. I generally mordekaiser/heimerdinger top and I don't grab TP with them, but anyone else I do. Also, don't tp to minions if you can help it since it reduces the cooldown on tower.

Guess what buddy, I said the same thing for when I can't get out of Silver V, I lose because I play top just like you, and my teammates suck. Know what they told me all, stop complaining, you're the one that sucks, your teammates don't always cause you to suck.

I don't believe what they said, and I really feel like being an ass like everyone else was to me, but I am just gonna say I feel your pain. People suck, and we have to suffer, those who put effort and want to win.

Record your games and then watch them critically, or have someone else watch them and critique them. While you're playing, it is very easy to see your teammates' mistakes and very hard to notice your own. Even when you do notice your mistakes, it is natural to write them off as "we were going to lose this game either way" or "TF ulted in and saved the tower, so it was fine that I died" and then forget that they ever happened.

Your not a bad top laner from your op.gg history but here is some things I see.

  1. Your CS is weak for 30+ min games. This is due to either having to run to team fights, because you don't run tp, or just poor csing.
  2. You rarely really win lane. As top it's not expected for you to destroy the other player, because they are usually tank, but as riven if you don't shut them down their late game will destroy yours. It also seems like they roam more than you, because there kda and yours.
  3. You have two builds for the one champ you play the most. The only differences is the little mr you obtain when playing against a Mage. You need to adjust more to your laner than one item.
  4. More champs, riven isn't the answer for everything haha. Play champs that can abuse tp or more fight oriented. Play against their comp not just riven.
