I feel like the toxicity in this game has increased...

I tend to play pretty casually and try my best to have fun. I keep to myself, I've never been banned, I try to mediate if I have to, and for the most part I try to be a positive team player.

These past few weeks, however, have probably been the least amount of fun I've ever had playing this game. I don't know what is wrong with people. I don't understand how they find it more worth their time to sabotage their own games by being close minded, condescending, and rude to their teammates. It's almost as if they sit down and say "How can I make 100% sure that my time spent playing this game is wasteful?"

Even the enemy is bad. The amount of times I've been laugh emoted at and taunted is kind of ridiculous. Most of it is unwarranted to. I'm not being owned or behind. They just seem to think they are "good enough to laugh at me". I know this seems kind of thin skinned, but like come on. It's like laughing at a child when you beat them up. You have nothing to be proud about.

I'm already struggling with the changes they've made to the game. Which, for a large portion of, I'm having a hard time following the logic on, but the player base seems to be getting worse. I don't see how this game is so popular while being so plagued by bad behavior.

This is also coming from someone who thinks "I don't care if you're the biggest asshole in the world, as long as you pull your weight and help win the game, you can call me all the names in the world. I'd much rather have a good asshole as a teammate than a bad nice guy." That said, where do you draw the line of "don't blame your teammates" and "there's no way you could have carried that game" because the latter seems to be the case more than people seem to believe.

Toxicity actually decrease while sensitive I don't want to get my feeling hurt kids have increase. That is why you see all these so call "toxicity". OP, I can't say I know what it like to be you so It wouldn't be fair for me to judge you as I always been good at this game, so the amount of time that people flame me, I can count on one hand, while the amount of time people praise me is countless.

Regardless of how I feel about this topic, I always treat my teammate with respect and help them out whenever I can.

I have noticed a slight increase in the amount of unwarranted rage - people raging at the beginning of the game when barely anything has happened yet. Usually when that happens it continues for the rest of the game.

It's not really enjoyable to play with these people, they will spam pings on you every time they think you're out of position... rage you for every item you get that they think isn't right, blame you when they die,..etc.. all game it's like you have to play with a 10 year old with anger problems screaming in your ear.

I think its because , like yourself, many people are upset with the preseason changes or struggling to get used to them. The anger at the way Riot is taking/changing the game and their champions has no output so when the have the slightest mistake in game it causes them to erupt like a volcano.

tldr: I did this the first couple games when Warlord's bloodlust was making yasuo more of a fucking asshole to fight than he already was.
