Liandry's Torment on Nautilus' "E" (Supp)

This may be an ignorant question, but would liandry's be useful with Nautilus' "E"? Nautilus

Liandry's supplies 80 ap, some extra hp and 3% hp magic damage over a couple seconds. That effect is doubled if the unit is slowed.

Since Naut's E can slow targets, wouldn't liandry's be great for dealing extra damage and giving him a minor hp increase while buffing his ap? I understand Rod of Ages is a must and then Abyssal scepter is great for mr and ap, but could/should liandry's be in the mix?

At 40% cdr his E is on a 3 second cooldown. Liandry's burn lasts 3 seconds. Sounds scary

why only e? Q, W and R do magic dmg too. So its kinda works.. kinda.

But you pick Nautilus not to deal dmg, but to do perma-CC. So you need to get tanky ASAP to keep yourself on top of enemy carry

And btw, as support You have to buy item 2045 , so you dont have free slot for item 3151

When playing in games that are more centered around AD threats, it's perfectly fine to substitute Liandry's in for Abyssal. This is assuming that you're making use of the strong synergy tank supports like Nautilus have with Aegis/Locket already.

Also, RoA is not a must as support Nautilus (Top lane it is though). When playing Nautilus support, keep in mind that you're a CC tank without much direct utility to offer your ADC. You can do things for them like eat skillshot or peel with your CC, but you can't actually give them anything (shields, heals, steroids) innately. Your build should should focus on compensating for this rather than providing damage. Items such as Face of the Mountain, Locket/Aegis, Frozen Heart, Righteous Glory if aggressive (against attack speed reliant champs) are a must.
