I need tips to counter Kayle (espacially when fed)

Side Note- please comment on any invalid info I may have placed.

My Problem: Out of the 3 people with ultimate's that prevent them from dying (Tryndamere and Poppy) Kayle is the only one i cant deal with.

Why only Kayle: -Ability to use range autoattacks with splash damage (goes on cooldown during use, giving only 6sec of vulnerability) -3 second slow that also applies her passive (35% -> 55% throughout the entire duration) -A heal (60 -> 240) that's also a movement speed buff (18% -> 30%); effects of both can be amplified with ap -Short cooldown on her ult (100 -> 90 -> 80); still vulnerable to cc effects, but her slow and movement make any of my efforts of escape useless -Lastly, her ult has no precondition unlike poppy and no one can damage her only stall her, and her late game power makes this very difficult

Why I have no problems with the other 2: -Tryndamere can be scared off if he's not doing enough damage to get the kill and an ignite might get u the kill if done at the right time -Poppy must ult a target and only does increased damage on the chosen target, but she can still be cc'ed until her ult's duration is up. Not only that but her target can still deal damage to her -Biggest reason why I can stand these 2 is because they are melee champions; which means I can kite all day if I play right

Thanks for taking the time to read and please give me some advice on how I can add Kayle to the "I can deal with" list. If you only have advice to deal with her while playing specific roles, please still give it me. Also, please note any mistakes in this.

Well... What champion were you playing? You need someone who can survive the harass and you need someone who either moves really fast or has a gap closer

that's really all you need her heal and slow cost a shit ton of mana, so if you can force her to use it during a trade she's gonna burn out

Cuz I never had a problem with kayle :l With sufficient trades, you can zone her in no time, yes even with melee champs and that window of vulnerability where she has to enter melee range shes either gonna burn a Q for cs, or walk up for cs either one, I'm gonna punish her for it Just run up to her, she's gonna use her speed buff to move away from you WHICH IS GOOD, she burns MORE mp

If you see her Q a minion, thats damage that will no longer hurt you for the next 10 seconds walk up and beat her ass for it

Never stahp trading, if you can force her to ult, thats even better you never wanna let her free harass, you gotta go ballz deep when you see the opportunities or if you're playing Usain Bolt udyr, You can do it whenever she has no hard cc nor "hard" escape(blinks, dashes, flashes)

Ok so as a kayle player, i'll give my advice.

She lacks the kind of burst that a lot of midlaners have, she excels in longer engagements and teamfights so if you are losing 1v1 here's some tips

  • Earlygame - Poke her, she lacks burst so hit her with 1 or 2 abilities and back off before she can retaliate. Ideally this should be done when her E has expired, which in early levels should be easy enough especially if she moves up to farm when it is down.
  • If she ults, just back off, the longer you stay in range for her to damage you while she isn't taking any damage, the worse the trade goes for you because of her sustained damage.
  • In the same vein, try to force her ult after your combo to avoid dying rather than before or during to avoid the damage, someone like Annie can easily do this by leading with the stun which will not allow her to ult and have to take the full combo.
  • Once she gets 3 or 4 items, she becomes very dangerous and should be avoided in 1v1 and focused during teamfights.
  • Teamfights - Try to focus her down asap as her passive makes everyone do more damage with the armor/mr shred, most kayles will ult either themselves, the adc, or the engager. As soon as the ult goes on a champion, change focus to either the adc or kayle depending on which one didn't get the ult. You can also try and use displacement cc to separate the adc and kayle and pick them off, this is very effective.
  • Lategame - Cry? She is very strong late game and can easily decimate both the front line, the back line, and structures. This makes her an excellent splitpusher and her backdooring shouldn't be ignored. If she does split, send at least 2 team members to deal with her.

Hope it helps

A Kayle backed 5 man ball is nearly impossible to fight late game. You cannot engage on them with most champs and you cannot dive them.

The way to win is either poke or displacement engages.
