Learning keyblinding but is it only necessary for adc?

I'm trying to learn this trick from this video to greatly improve my kiting skills but there is a problem to this... abilities are a lot harder to cast compare to the normal settings smart casting and a lot harder to ping. Trying to get used to this but I'm so used to the normal settings that it is more difficult than I thought it should be. Kiting is a lot easier but is this trick even good for other roles that doesn't requires kiting like lux for example? This trick makes adc easier but other roles a lot harder so only set this up when I play adc? Is there any reason to use this keybinding for other roles?

"Is there any reason to use this keybinding for other roles?" Not really. You aren't going to be kiting and autoattacking with lux for example. And considering how I use the mouse and have don't have trouble with attack moving or stutter steps, it's not necessary or for me even worth it for that role.

Auto attack based champions will make use of this. ADCs are the main users of this but it is also useful on fighters and tanks. Someone like Riven for example can make use of this skill very effectively. Also tanks who jungle can make use of the skill when kiting a jungle creep so as to mitigate damage taken to them.
