Playing against resourceless champions

I'd like some help with playing against resourceless champions mid. I have always liked Leblanc, I won't say I have ever been GOOD at her but I like her anyway. Common foe I come up against are Katarinas, Yasuos, Zed, Akali and Rivens (sometimes) I always come to lane with D-ring two pots, when I go crystal flask I feel like I don't have enough damage to do anything.
Katarina comes to lane with boots 4 pots, I try to push her out of lane but she just pops another potion and continues chipping at me with Q until I am out of potions. This continues until I am either OOM or well dead. When I ask my friends what I do about it they just hiss "MANAGE UR MANA BETTER!" at me... but I HAVE to attack her right? please help. I am tired of getting rekt.

LeBlanc actually counters 3/4 of the champions you listed.

She and Zed can deal roughly equal damage to each other, except LB's abilities are much easier to land. As well, if he tries a level 6 kill, be sure to use your ult to dash away AFTER he has arrived. LB should win this match up if both players are competent.

Yasuo is powerless against her target-less blinks unless the jungler intervenes. Her Q has a much lower CD then his W, LeBlanc just has to AA Yasuo to pop his shield before her combo. In addition, Yasuo doesn't get MR per level, he will be extremely squishy against LB.

Riven's primary weakness is poke, she is great for all-ins, but she has terrible health regen and life steal early game. Just wear her down so she can't afford to all-in at level 6.

Against Katarina it might be a bit more difficult since LB can no longer silence her when Kat ults. However, since Kat is AP, that means you can build a Chalice or morellonomicon much sooner rather than building seeker arm guards for the Zhonyas.

Overall, mana management is fairly easy in League. The only time I run out when playing a mana champion is if I stayed in lane until level 6 or I was using abilities to CS. Late game, with all the mana regen items, one rarely have to watch their blue bar anymore.

The best advice would be to just back once you ran out of mana and have accumulated a fair bit of CS. Your opponents might shove their wave to your turret, but they will have to back as well or they will be at a disadvantage with fewer items.

It's all about lane matchup knowledge

You can't max Q vs yasuo You HAVE to roam vs kat, you beat her 1v1 and have more mobility You lose very hard vs zed if he takes vision ward , need to juke his shuriken

You need to time your harass, you can't just auto them when they are trying to cs. You have a huge advantage as a ranged champ vs melee Don't try to harass when they have 2390381293892138912 minions, just lightly harass when they have a few then immediately back off

A good build path for LB is Dorans>dorans>deathfire, another dorans gives you more hp to make you a lil tanky plus gives you some of that juicy blue stuff.

Going chalice is good if you're getting stomped though.

You gotta play super safe as leblanc, heck maybe even play passive until lvl 3 (unless you vrsin skillshot champs, then you can Q>W or E after they miss). You gotta either A)Do constant damage that can keep up with your mana regen, or B) Do your damage in big bursts so potions won't cut it. For instance a full ap rune 21/9/0 or 21/0/9 mastery LB should do 1/3 to 2/5 of their hp (with a full combo). It should take 2 potion (30 seconds) to heal that fully, your cooldown should be about 14ish seconds?

Or easy route ask for a jungle gank and then proceed to snowball.

Everyone is typing paragraphs and telling you how to build but the answer is clear. Where is your Magic Resist item?
