Miss Fortune

After playing quite a few games as MissFortune I don't see what's changed for the better, in fact the only thing I really notice in game is that I can't duel as well because I don't have grievous wounds. What am I suppose to be doing as Miss.Fortune now? What does she do better or as good as any other AD carry? Am I missing something?

The "rework" was nerf. Flat out.

Yeah I mean, aside from the fact she got like 10 different buffs, sure.

Buffs:

Passive: Cannot be broken by DoTs, scales faster into late game per level, shields can block it from popping Q: Can do 150% of It's damage and also apply a stack of Frenzy W: Lower cooldown, reactivates strut E: Stronger slow, higher damage

Nerfs:

W: 2 Second Grevious Wounds removed

Passive - Still broken by ignite, still broken by random caster minion glares in her general direction

Q - Bounce Cone nerfed to 60 degree angle from 100 degree angle, enemies have to be literally almost in a straight line behind the minion to be hit now. Its such a ridiculously narrow angle its much more difficult to hit then pre-rework. Plus on the same note, to do 150% damage with the Q bounce requires a minion/champ to bounce off of, that is within KILL range of the initial Q. SO many things have to be in the perfect spot for you to get a 150% Q bounce onto a champ during the laning phase.

W - Lower Cooldown agree. Activates Strut, so my choices are, to save the AS Boost and have less DPS while dueling/fighting and use it to chase someone who probably has a dash/blink/jump or save it to run away from someone who probably has a dash/blink/jump... either way its a lose lose. Plus Strut is still broken when random caster minion decides to glare in her general direction.

E - Higher slow early, Same damage over a shorter period of time. I.E. Higher dmg per Tick. Its still extremely easy to avoid, and only applies its slow for .25 sec per Tick of damage, so after its cast time, and delay in showing up, if you hit a person on the edge and they take 1 tic of damage, they are slowed for a whopping .25 secs.... To put this in perspective, if you get hit by Dravens E, you instantly get displaced, and then your slowed for the SOLID 2 seconds. That's why her E is still extremely underwhelming and pointless.

Oh, and this aggrevates me to NO END, Grievous wounds didn't last 2 seconds, it's 2 seconds refreshing every hit. So if you activated W and then AA'd someone for the entire duration of your W, they would have grievous wounds on them for the ENTIRE DURATION, + 2 seconds after the last AA. People really have no clue how her mechanics worked, and it saddens me greatly.

Yeah, I know it refreshes but it still lasts 2 seconds.

As for her Q they didn't "nerf" the cone. Before, even if a champion was behind a minion, it could turn and hit another minion in a wave. It was really annoying and now poking is ridiculously easy.

And her E, I don't see why people call it underwhelming. It's an AoE slow with retarded cast range. Even if you're chasing someone, you can hit them with a small duration of it due to how high the range is. Miss Fortune players never used this for damage, and it would be pretty stupid if it did do a lot since Miss Fortune already has more damage than most ADCs throughout the game, but the slow is not weak and allows her to follow up with all-ins and ganks so well.

Grevious Wounds wasn't that big of a deal, in playing Miss Fortune for hundreds of games, really the only times I ever felt like Grevious Wounds was a strong mechanic that definitely changed my lane, was when I decided to play her mid against a Vladimir. Riot isn't nerfing Miss Fortune, but they're purposely trying to remove Grevious Wounds. If Grevious Wounds doesn't exist, they can start nerfing sustain more from champions who are outright broken like Vladimir. I think they were already testing Vladimir nerfs in the PBE.

I disagree on a few points. Q bounce angle was nerfed. It used to have a larger bounce angle, and prioritized champs with GW on them, THEN minions, then Champs again. Here's a comparison screen shots of the old bounce angle, compared to the new one.

And on E, your right it does have a decent cast range, 1100 units I think, but you have to remember, it has a cast time when you use it, and a delay from when it falls and takes effect. So If your chasing someone, trying to land E on them, while your "casting" it, and it's "ramping up" to do damage, they are STILL RUNNING away. If you are literally not in AA range when trying to hit a fleeing toon with Make it Rain, they will be far enough away, and able to get out of MiR before the slow that's applied lets you catch up to them.

buy a BT and problem solved (it's core on MF anyways, sometimes you even rush it)

the fact that your E does something at level 1 is a huge buff, before you didn't even level it up before lvl 7 because it was worthless

Q bullies way harder now (it's not really hard to use that)

it was a pretty big buff overall, i've been playing her alot and the changes feel really good

you could find some problems if there is a Vlad on the other team (before you could wreck him easily) but that's about it

I'm not sure how they can call this a rework :'{

Probably because It's not a rework.

Miss Fortune excels at lane bullying and easily has the best early game of any ADC, if you're winning lane against a Miss Fortune It's either due to the Miss Fortune being poor, the Supports and their skill levels, or she's just fighting Kalista who basically counters everybody for some reason.

Miss Fortune's early game like I said is the best of any ADCs INCLUDING Caitlyn. Miss Fortune has stronger poke, on a lower cooldown, that also costs less mana. Unlike Caitlyn, Miss Fortune can all-in somebody and do extremely well. Caitlyn on the other hand has to poke them down and then engage. Miss Fortune rarely is ever able to be dueled early game by any ADC. Her Q is an instant auto attack reset that also acts as an auto attack itself and her W passive gives her a ton of free AD that increases as the battle goes on and also can be applied on everybody at once. Even if for some reason she is losing lane, her roaming abilities make up for it. She can follow up with ganks so easily and pretty much fits in and against every team comp.

Her mid game is something that I feel like people forget about. Her abilities allow her to totally ignore the enemy front line tanks and devestate the back line. She can duel most people really easily, and can end the game before her late game fall off even hits. She has great objective control and her ultimate can easily steal Baron/Dragon.

As for her late game, she definitely falls off but she's still an ADC and regardless of who the ADC is, they will do plenty of damage late game.

The changes overall gave her a very tiny nerf late game, but made her early and mid game so much stronger. I've never lost lane so far with the new Miss Fortune, and all but one game I've gotten fed and carried. Her early game is scary and she scales really well into mid and can still be a powerful opponent late. The thing she does better than any ADC is not necessarily anything. She can do EVERYTHING except being a late game hypercarry. She can duel, teamfight, has objective control, can siege, can farm easily. The thing is that she can fit into and against any team comp, and do anything effectively. She is NOT the best duelist, however she can surely win most duels between majority of the ADCs in the game. And she is NOT the best teamfighter, but she can teamfight better than most ADCs. She does everything and while she doesn't do a lot of them the best, she unlike most ADCs can do them effectively and really well.

Draven This guy is the best lane bully early game too bad is so damn hard to cathc those axes

VDc0zCqe0w3 votes

bullies (way) harder with Q and E

is slightly worse lategame

overall she's better

She's still a Lane Bully, is good at any point of the game, is one of the best roaming ADCs, and positioned right, her ult can devastate a team. Also deals some decent mixed damage.

Edit: Also, don't build Statick on MF. She scales way better with Phantom Dancer. Statick's proc and move speed isn't worth the loss of attack speed, crit chance, and collision-ignore.
