I've been suffering crazy WiFi issues on Yosemite and plan on updating to El Capitan this week. Anyone knows if League supports this OS fully?

Thought should be proper, but on my Mac I have a lag, when I'm changing position from left to right, or right to left. It exists no matter what resolution is set or level of details - high, medium, low. Tried to solve this issue by changing almost every possible option but there is no solution to this.

On Yosemite was great, but speed of system is incomparable on El Capitan.

I HIGHLY ADVISE NOT TO. I updated before I updated my League to 5.19, and I haven't been able to even update League. It's continuously stuck in a "scanning files" at 33% for me when I open the patcher, when I try to delete files and restart, I get stuck. I tried a reinstall, it was going well until I started hard freezing at 90%, or the patcher closed on me for no reason. I have a MacBook Pro '12-'13 release, and it was perfect on Yosemite, but El Capitan is just a mess. Don't do it.item 3070

Don't do it yet. Client won't launch at all.

See this post: http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/bug-report/QxEYYNEq-client-mac-os-x-el-capitan-stuck-on-lolpatcherux

I can confirm that League of Legends was working great for me on OSX 10.10. Since upgrading to OSX 10.11, it appears that I cannot play at all.

Thankfully, my main computer for playing is a Windows-based gaming laptop. Otherwise, I'd be screwed.

EDIT: I am running a Late 2014 15" Macbook Pro, base model (using Iris Pro GPU).

Oh, hey, the patcher finally launched like 5 minutes after I force closed it! Maybe it's doable after all... Will keep you posted.

I have a mid-2011 iMac. I went through all the trouble of carrying it across the fucking town in a city bus all to way to my boyfriend's place and MIRACLE. The Internet worked just fine there. Turns out my computer was detecting my 5GHz network as a 2,4GHz one. Don't ask me how that's possible, I really don't get it (yes, 5GHz and 2,4GHz have and always had different SSIDs). Whatever. My father created new 5GHz networks until my Mac stopped dropping it. Chanel 149 is working fine and my problems are solved. That means I don't have to rush to update to El Capitan anymore. And what the hell is wrong with Apple? El Capitan. Really? But yeah. My good ol' friend's still a bit slow, so keep me updated. :D

I play with an ethernet cable and my Client has started to lag visually since switching to El Capitan. Would not recommend on this patch.

If you haven't, do not update to El Capitan. I could log on to League's game homepage, but cannot connect to game or spectate a game. It's not only league that not properly working. I'm having issue with streaming on Netflix, Amazon Prime, and even loading a page using google chrome. It's ridiculously frustrating. ;,,,,,;

FYI, if you're interesting in updating...use time machine/backup in Yosemite mode before installing El Capitan... --- something I did not do... :*(

I always make backups before important changes, but thanks for the advice. And as I explained in another comment, I finally (after like... a year) fixed my WiFi problem. Thus, I do not need to update for the moment. ^_^

Yeah I'm on Macbook Pro 13' and running El Capitan game won't run so if you don't want to play don't upgrade.

I updated to El Capitan and its fine for me. Loading has always been pretty slow for me, and I have no problems in game at the moment.

Sure seem to be the only one here without a problem haha.
