There's no such thing as having credibility when you act that way. I'm sorry your friend had to deal with that person(s). If I'm doing really bad sometimes I just preemptively mute everyone so I can keep focus on the game, and it's sad that people become rotten just because they are anonymous; maybe parents and schools need to start teaching the kids specifically about being kind even when no one will recognize them?
Tell your friend she's always welcome to talk it out here, especially if she needs consolation and advice on dealing with these people.

I always insta-report anyone who says kill yourself or any other death/suicide related taunt. It should absolutely not be tolerated and is insta-ban worthy in my opinion.
I understand someone getting mad in a ranked game, but not mad to the point where you tell someone to kill themselves. I remember when I was new and I had no idea how to play and people would tell me crap like that all the time.
