I've been in games playing Thresh, where people are so oblivious to the fact that Thresh's lantern can teleport them.
WELL NOW YOU KNOW.
When a Thresh throws you his lantern and you're knee deep into a fight about to get killed, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD CLICK ON HIS LANTERN. IT WILL SAVE YOU.
Just a tip for the newbies.
People in relatively higher elos know how to position themselves in melee vs. melee fights mid-game such that lantern can't be clicked on conveniently. I've had several games where I spam click lantern and can't click on it.
Thresh just needs to start throwing lanterns at people rather than near them idk just a thought
I've literally never played with an ADC that didn't know this. On the other hand, when I throw my lantern out for souls/shields or I put it out preemptively hoping they'll trade or something beforehand, players click it IMMEDIATELY, which is annoying. The mindset is "Drop everything and click the lantern" no matter the context.
I'm confused about the lantern in the sense that I usually feel like it doesn't do much. But I'm guessing that maybe the Thresh's I've played with aren't very good? because they always throw me the lantern when nothing is happening or they chill like 3 paces away from me. Like that does nothing....
