Silver 4 Sivir Main Help at this Elo

Hey, everyone, name's Chatillon and I am a Sivir main, basically every time I ADC it is with her. She is my most solid champ and my KDA usually stays positive and I'm very good at staying alive when on another adc i would normally not. As my brother says, ' I don't think you're good with Sivir, i think you just dont FEED with her' -Leafic 2k15. I have played 3 placements with her so far and i am 3/0.

I would have to say my laning is the weakest part of my game, mid game is better, and late is my best. I can teamfight pretty well, and don't usually find myself in a bad position away from my team. When I duo with Leafic, no matter what role he plays, he acts as my body guard, peeling or just absorbing damage for me which helps and we can usually duo carry a game in that way.

LANING In lane, I start W to push the wave and hit lvl 2 as quickly as possible, taking a point in Q at 2 and depending on if they have a hard engage or tons of damage, my e at 3 or 4. 90% of the time i max Q for the nuke damage, but if im against someone with too much rangeCaitlyn or mobilityKalista I max or put 3 points into W for the 'easy' damage from the ricochet. I rarely stomp lane, its usually me being a few cs ahead with a kill or two if im winning. I have trouble with confidence of my abilities until I have an IE and i feel much better once i have a IE and Shiv. If the lane is going to be miserable or i cant count on my supp, i sometimes go BT and i have contemplated trying BOTRK (but im not sure if thats good or not). I average 60 cs at ten if the lane isn't overly aggressive, and CS'ing is one of my weak points early. Later with W+Q its easy but thats not the point. I try to group for an early drag with my supp and jg and usually we can sneak it and occasionally net a few kills out of it without losing more than one person. Most supports don't get early dragon control ive noticed. I usually buy a pink and put it in our tri during one of our backs just b/c i have some gold and its safe to hide it in. MID GAME I usually getitem 3031 item 3087 item 3006 if it isn't situational, but if the enemy team has a zed or something else BS i buy a QSS as my second or third item. My boot enchant is always homeguards, i feel it is the best use of money and is reliable, while furor is only good for kiting and not defending or getting to lane/healing faster. I teamfight really well, rarely getting too caught out and if i do, my e and ult can always help. I usually blow two or three ults a game b/c i did something stupid or rushed down a tower with incoming baddies. In teamfights i usually use ult as an engage, followed by disengage, then chase. My spellshield usually blocks something big or crippling, like nunu ult, zed, etc. and i use it to buy me a couple seconds to kill someone if they get too close and then they try to wait out the shield while i kite back. I usually group and get side farm without compromising the team too badly, grouping up for a teamfight. When i split push or shove, i rarely get caught out. My build is usuallyitem 3031 item 3087 item 3006 item 3072 /item 3035 depending on if they stack armor. I get a item 1053 and just leave it for the sustain sometimes. LATE GAME I can usually stay alive very well, hitting full build around 35 or so minutes because of side farm and kills. My build by this time is usuallyitem 3031 item 1304 item 3087 item 3072 item 3035 and with a item 3046 item 3140 item 3139item 3026 , and i haven't learned when it is good to build item 3143 , and may start knowing when to build item 3102 anditem 3083 . I also am curious to try item 3025 , it works with Ezreal.... My trink is usually lvl2 yellow because i like the free wards and i can check bushes with my Q if i need to. I usually get doubles and triples every teamfight once im full build and focus on turrets and winning when i can. because i can push down turrets really fast. depending on how late it goes i usually sell shiv for another PD and i haven't tried Zepher for boots yet...sounds sketchy.

I usually end the game around 7 /3/ ** if its earlier and then if its late i gets more like 15/5 17/9 etc. With Sivir i can usually pul myself out of a bad laning experience with side farm and teamfighting. Rarely does my lane go so poorly that my enemy is saying 'GG nub bot lane'

And i almost got a penta once, if it matters, but i was low and too much of a pussy to get the quad b/c i lifestealed minions for too long. then i got unofficial quad and hightailed it out of there when two ppl came homeguarding after me.

I hope that this indepth look at me helps for tips. Love you all <3

It's very difficult to give specific advice in a game where there are 1.9265736e+14 different match possibilities. Each match should be treated differently.

Some general advice:

Practice CSing if that's your weakness. Play a custom game and see how many CS you can get by yourself in 10 mins with no items, runes, masteries. You should be aiming for 100 I believe. I usually count how many I miss, so I don't recall what the max number you can get is.

Never, EVER, count your KDA. It's a stat that is misleading and doesn't tell even a fraction of the story. You might have secured 3 dragons by yourself, but you don't get assists for any kills that your teammates got because of dragon buff. You might have got 6 turrets singlehandedly, but you don't get assists for gold you gave your allies. You could have placed 100 wards all match, but you don't get assists for the vision allies get. You get the point.

If you want to pay attention to KDA, just notice the D part. You control 100% of your own deaths. EVERY kill if your own fault. Even if you lag out, it's your fault. Dying gives the enemy 300+ gold when you include assists. I don't care if you're 20,10,20. You still gave the enemy team 3,000+ gold.

'Not feeding' is often the difference between Bronze and Silver. It gives your team a chance to win the game after the laning phase.

Successful ADCs tend to hover around the outskirts of team fights until all 5 enemy champions are accounted for (visible/dead). This is especially important if the enemy team has 'assassins' that can burst down a poorly positioned carry.

EDIT: my KDA is very positive early, then i start racking up deaths. for my earliest matches to later 7/6/12 5/6/6 4/1/4 5/6/5 6/2/17 15/3/17 4/3/7 24/8/19 13/3/11 1/6/8 14/5/11 16/9/18

so when i do really well, i do really well, but then when i do poorly i feed like the red cross, and then the middle ground of being 1 kill up on deaths

im only bronze one, but I can tell that you have a high rate of deaths, and sense you only carry games or do bad. I would think the problem is your positioning around the map or your team fighting.

you said your kda, is positive early meaning something about mid game is your problem, perhaps you are overextending. high risk playstyles tend to have this outcome.

if this was not helpfull you can try a website called lol-coaching.com where people help are willing to help, and know a lot more then myself.

Check your damage after the game, a lot of the time if you have no deaths thats really good, but if you arent carrying as ADC then you arent doing your job, you need to find the mid way point between damage and safety, need to be just safe enough to stay alive but do lots of damage in the fight, you need a balance, if you play ADC and dont always have the high damage other than the APC sometimes, then youre playing too safe or ineffectively, if games go for more than 40 mins, ADC is sustained damage so you should always have the highest damage to champions in 40 min+ games. Also sivirs laning is really strong, you should never max W, always Q. Sivirs game is to push, push fast. Push your lane down entirely by buying some mana pots when you back, (health pots too ofc) with your spare gold after buying BF or Pickaxe or whatever, what Sivir does well is push down her lane turret, group mid and speed everyone up for mid game. Shes a support ADC, her damage is less than great late game compared to almost all other ad carries, but her ult is extremely strong all game.

If you are stubborn to play sivir, then the best you can do, (its my graves way) push hard your lane, make sure you dont lose cs doing so tho! Make him loose cs underturret, destroy his turret asap. Once its done, you go bot only to push the wave further than tier1 turret. Then you roam mid to destroy his turret. There is nothing worse for a midlaner to lose his turret early. Its a very very important one. If you have a gameplan woch its to have a succesful roam who brings down the mid turret, you are on a very good winning path
