I was playing Shen jungle and decided to give my top layer 
blue buff, after taking krugs and red buff instead of taking it myself so it would help him harass 
a little more. You may be thinking "You need blue to hit level 3 or you need to clear a whole other camp" but if you kill one baby wolf and the two baby golems then you will hit level 3 anyway. I am not sure if you guys already know this trick but I thought I would share it with you guys :)
I would take it tbh b/c I'm selfish and also because it can help me clear my jungle camps faster. Keep your blue if you're playing a mana-based jungler though!
It's not always that useful for your laners. Like, a lot of champs can't benefit that much from a pre 6 blue. I mean if you want to, go for it. And some champs will use it well- Malzahar comes to mind- but a lot of times it's more impactful pre 6 on you.
it sets you pretty far behind in jungle clear speed due to loss in mana and cooldown reduction.
