Is it me or does Maokai become a supper tank assassin mid-late game

I just played a game with him and oh god the damage and burst is just unreal for someone so tanky. My build: I know I probably should not be building Sorc boots.

With that much AP/Penetration/Resistance, that's more of an AP Bruiser.

You might want to watch season 2 LCS plays.

Maokai is always a super tanky assassin. He used to tower-dive bot lane at level 2 and walk out with 2 kills. Preeeety sure he can still do that, and probably will do that if tanky junglers stay close to where they are now.

Actually a pretty solid build. I might try it on a champ I actually play.
