People need to start building to win in Ranked. TOP TIP: If you're a bruiser and behind, GO TANK!

You would not believe the amount of times people fall behind then build like they plan on carrying the game.

For example, I just had an Udyr feed hard, at 35 minutes he STILL didn't have his Devourer stacked and was essentially useless. However he refused to just switch to Cinderhulk and go tank.

I've also seen Aatrox players do this a lot, fall behind and continue building straight AD instead of even bothering to pick up defensive items.

Obviously it isn't possible to build defensively on every champ or role, ADCs must build AD and Riven is pretty useless if she doesn't build damage, AP mages usually have to build AP, etc etc. however when people are taking champs that can go either bruiser or tank then fall behind and refuse to tank or worse go some hyperdamage build... they're not building to win.

So, yeah, pretty simple tip. Try to be one of those nice guys that realizes what the team needs, like a Gragas jungle I had that went full tank because we didn't have other tanky champs. You can't always carry games but you can try to be as useful to your team as possible.

Riven can go semi-tanky. She doesn't have to build 5 BTs or something.

Totally agree if people are behind they should build tank and for the people that cat build tank (adc and mages) they should buy wards and help with the vision to wait until the catch up. After it is a team game if you cant caryy might as well help someone who will carry the game

An adc can buy a chain vest or something, or even QSS if they desperately need some defense, or invest in one main defensive item (GA, banshee's, etc).

An APC can alter their build slightly with item 3116 or something instead of Luden's or whatever if the extra health can count.

Glass cannon champions don't have many options as bruisers, but there is some defensive itemization available :c

What? WHAT? You suggest that noobs should use their brain instead of relying on their bronze 5 mobafire glasscannon builds? BURN THIS HERETIC NOW!!

I still like Udyr with Cinderhulk, Triforce, tenacity boots, other items are situation tank items.

ikr. you dont even have to go full tank, just get your defensive items 1st. jeez XD

IMO the problem is in soloQ low elo especially if you are a tank, you can't carry. It's all about the dmg and mechanics.

It is kinda ok on Aatrox since he is mainly only a split pusher, his team fight is dooky and building tanky will not do that much for him. He should be building to kill towers and to duel the most likely champion that will be coming to stop him.

This guy is pretty much only useful when splitting, or this is the only way I have ever seen him be useful.

I always play a tanky support. In fact on Braum, after sighstone and Targon, i might just go for armor and magic resist, then later finish FoTM.

Armor plus the shield = "Hey, jinx/Ashe/Graves/Draven/etc please harass me while my team kills you. They can't ignore me either, because I'll just freeze them, lol.
