I'm sick of taking Lux Mid and being forced to Support by "Mid or Feed!" Trolls in Ranked.

... and the worst part is that when I refuse to go bot lane my entire team flames me for losing them the game.

I mean, I'm first pick, I SAY MID, and lock Lux. Then second/third pick or whoever says "Nope I'm mid! You can support!" and then entire team says "OMG Lux just go support so we can win!"

Look, I get it's ranked, I get that people want to win, but it's preposterous people get away with this shitty behavior in Solo Q. So, basically, if I take any champ that can feasibly support there's a chance a "Mid or feed" or "Top or feed" or "Whatever or feed" Troll will essentially force me into the bot lane.

Something needs to be done to record chat in champ select because WAY too much shit happens there.

you give in to "mid or feed" trolls?!? that's like giving a terrorist $20 billion because he threatened to bomb you otherwise!

never give in to a troll. i don't even dodge those because i rather lose lp than give in to a blackmailer. this is my modus operandi:

1: take screenshot of the person threatening to "mid or feed"

2: proceed select as if he hadn't said anything. don't retaliate or react - in other words: "don't feed the troll"

3: if he really duo's mid, just play your best and report him after the game.

4: in any case, even if you win and even if he did not go through with the threat, report him.

also send the screenshot to Riot Support after the game, reporting him there as well. we do not need champion select bullies who think they can say "mid or feed" and get their way.

Someone who says "X or feed" is someone who is trying to control your actions, through fear of losing the game, in the political landscape of champion select. There is a specific term for people like that:

Terrorist.

Since you play on NA, I'll assume you live in either Canada or the USA. Both countries have a strict "will not negotiate with terrorists" policy, and encourage their citizens to do the same.

So the next time you encounter a terrorist in champion select, you do not respond to that person at all. If that leads to a duo mid with all four of your teammates flaming you, so be it. Mute the terrorist and his supporters, and by all that is sacred never give in their demands. They only have power over you if you let them have power over you.

Yeah, I think that Riot's instant report system should factor in everything that says "X or feed". And should also look at the pre- and post-game chat, because it's stupid not to. And you should be able to report in champion select. And I shouldn't be able to list so many solutions.

It's statistically more likely the enemy team has a troll than you do. Sometimes champ selects like those happen and you can take the dodge, 3 LP is free.

Went from gold ii to gold iv today.

My match history does not speak of the duo mids, the afks, the intent feeders typing "enjoy the loss trash", people wishing aids on others... never had a loss streak like this, never seen this much constant toxicity. It's literally nothing but bullies, people trying to dictate their way.

"Open mid" has become a term i've grown to utterly hate.

And for you op... one game i was fp, picked annie mid, locked it. Second pick locks xerath typing "lol enjoy annie support kid" Got ingame, lied in all chat.... i got reported 9x that game.

and i was silent, because if i said one thing to them id get a chat ban. Welcome to league

3 LP and 5 min is nothing

10 LP and 30 min, 2nd dodge of the day. - still really low. If you had to dodge twice due to trolls, time to stop for the day.

That's...interesting most people I've met in Ranked respect pick order pretty well. I don't think I've seen "X or feed" in a long time. I don't think it's really a large enough problem that Riot needs to deal with it, especially because people who are bitches in champs select are generally bitches the rest of the game anyways.

This is the game you guys created by forcing Riot to only focus on "verbal abuse". Everyone pretends trolls don't exist and that the real problem is that someone said something unkind to them. You get to sleep in the bed you made now.

Use the mute button in game, and just go mid anyways. Laugh as you get all the farm with your super safe recently buffed broken E. If they complain, you were first pick. The ones who picked after you ruined it, not you. And kindly tell them, that Lux is a very strong mid laner right now since her buffs.

if they still troll you, troll them back by staying in mid and getting your farm and cs to the point that the obvious child on your team gives in and hides behind your ADC, smack talking him instead for not sharing minions.

It takes a special kind of person to troll and ruin ranked games like that. I pity what their life must be like, if they have to ruin a fun past time for the rest of us. Can't be too happy, clearly.
