Then someone, anyone, please explain what the fuck I did wrong in this game. My ADC didn't farm. My jungle built god knows what. Literally, every lane lost. I tried my best to roam. Help others out. Silence the enemy team in team fights. I did my best. My team did sub-par.

I never bought into that "It's not your team, it's you." thing.

If you told all 5 people on the team that, then it's technically wrong.

Dude, this game is literally completely random whether you win or lose. It just depends on who gets more feeders on their team. Unless you are like a plat smurf in silver, there is nothing you can do. All you can do is play your lane and watch your team start the game 1-19.

Not every game is winnable, regardless of how well you play. When people say "You should blame yourself", that doesn't mean that you should shoot yourself in the foot everytime you lose, but that you should analyze what you could have done better in each game, whether you win or lose. Yes, your team likely screwed up and threw the game in a way that one soraka cannot make them win, but instead of going "I didn't do anything wrong fml this team", you should be asking yourself what you can improve on, regardless of whether that would have made your team win the game. Could you have shot called better? Could you have roamed or pinged more? Could you have advised your team on their builds? Did you land every Q that you could have, or ever missed a vital W or R that could have saved a teammate?

Anyway, this thread seems more to be of a "Omg look at how bad my team is" than an actual thread asking for help. I'd advise that you change your attitude to a more positive one and look to the next game for improvement instead of kicking dirt into your teammates and then sarcastically asking what you did wrong. When people say to blame yourself, they're not saying your teammates can't screw things up, but that how badly your team screws up shouldn't affect how you analyze your abilities and the possible improvements you could have made.

Take the advice with a grain of salt, as I am a bronzie, but a good mental attitude helps you win more and have more fun than just blaming your teammates.

I think when people say that they mean if you can't climb its your fault.

So because your team sucks you are entitled to suck more? Gj on becoming the average silver player. Gj on coming to a part of the forums based on self improvement, and turning into you personal venting service where you deny any help at all.

At the end of the day, you have to blame your teammates because you can't face the fact that you are just another worthless support that can't even do their job.

Some games are unwinnable (Some). But a Vast majority of the games you lose there is always something you can do. As you get more time and experience you can learn from your mistakes. You are the only constant in all your games. You are the only thing you can change. Everyone gets "those kinds of teamates" on there team a majority of their games. Solo isn't Luck. Sure theres a tiny % chance a noob player can have a lucky streak and climb but its rare.

There is a reason people consistently climb each season with ease to the rating they max out at. You will never win or climb more when you try to find blame on anyone in your team but you. There is always something you could do better this includes for pro players. If you are someone who is constantly blameing your team you won't climb. The only thing you can do is admit there is so much more you can do to vastly improve your chances of winning.

If you continuously focus on yourself rather then blameing other players who are playing poorly on your team your winrate will increase. Record your games rewatch them. You might not even see your mistakes until you understand the game better. Find a higher level player ask him to spectate you and point out things you could do to improve. Not every game is winnable but you can win a lot more games if you learn to stop blaming your teamates and focus on yourself.

I was stuck in silver 5 for the longest time, I convinced myself it was trolls on my team who feed repeatedly. After months of raging a friend of mine said let me spectate your games. AS I told him I am so much better then everyone in this elo (Turned out I was ass). And he pointed out multiple things I was doing terribly. After talking with him I decided to give it a shot his way. And then for the first time in months I started to climb slowly at first but more climbing then I had done in months. And I would continue to pick apart my games asses to the best of my knowledge what more could I do.

Some examples, I bought more wards and I warded my teammates lanes who where over extending with no vision. I would ward enemys jungle to track enemy jungler. I would make sure I was watching map more to warn my team when people were coming. I wouldn't try to 1v1 someons lane when they aren't there when I don't understand the matchup and different power levels. I still have a lot to learn and I still need to figure out ways to improve its a never ending cycle unless your faker.

Every Division has "Those kinds of team members ". Look It's a giant wall of text with massive grammar mistakes so let me TLDR THIS BISH. You are the only constant in every single one of your games. Some games you can't win. You belong in the division you are in. If you think you should be higher Look at your own gameplay and improve. Good luck on the rift summoners.

LAST MINUTE ADDTION: This video sums up "ELO HELL" extremely well. Jokeing aside this video is pure genious. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AJ4vPCY11eM

What can I say, can't win every game. There is nothing wrong with your jungler's build. Also did they have a duo top lane?

tseihei9/12/2015, 3:22:53 AM1 votes

19 wards placed in a 30+ minute game... Only bought one pink ward... Only cleared 2 wards....

You did not play support well.

I don't think the idea of "its always your fault" is suppose to be taken literally. I believe its intended effect is to point out that even if you played better than your teammates, you still didn't play perfectly and should instead focus on the mistakes you made yourself in an effort to improve, rather than just throw your hands up in defeat at being matched with newer players.
