Before we think about improving......

I have thought about this for a few days and feel like this is something that i should share. Yes, i haven't [;ayed ranks yet, but i feel like this is important in life as well as league. From what i have seen on youtube, the boards, and experienced in game, there are many people who like to claim that their teammates are the reason for their losses in matches and loss of elo. Oftentimes these people have claimed to have done nothing wrong when their last plays might have cost them a game. They then go on to flame the jungler for not ganking, support for not warding,etc.... The game then tends to become an inevitable flamefest that can hindert the performance of the entire team.

The point is, many people don't seem to like to admit that what they do , did, or didn't do is wrong. They often act "prideful"(notice the quotes) because inside they feel bad or even shameful for their shortcomings. They are afraid to admit their mistakes because they don't want to be ridiculed by others by saying "sorry, that was a bad play". They try to defend their acts to try to make themselves feel better(this is a defensive mechanism that is part of human nature).

I think that one of the keys to doing better is to admit when you do something wrong. But before you do that, it is important to realize that it is PERFECTLY OKAY to admit when you do something wrong! You shouldn't have to prove anything to anyone especially since this is JUST A GAME! People shouldnt be ashamed of admitting their mistakes and neither should they feel ashamed in commiting them because we are all human. Admitting when you do something wrong doesnt make you a weak person because you are at least being true to yourself.

Digging even deeper, people don't want to admit that it's okay to admit their mistakes because their sel-esteem, self-confidence and ego will take a huge plummet. In which case, you have to be comfortable with making mistakes and should accept yourself and give yourself credit for at least trying to make a play. When you admit to your teammates that you made a mistake, you shouldnt let that mistake wear you down( i tend to be a perfectionist so this is where i as a player TRULY fall!). Going on tilt is something that feels terrible and can seriously hinder your gameplay and self-esteem. I know this because since i don't defend any play i do especially the bad ones. If you are doing terrible in a game and you NEED to AFK for 1 minute or whenever you are waiting to respawn to take a few deep breaths and calm down and clear your head, it helps to get in a better mood. It is also important to not worry about how pissed off people are at you, that places more stress and emotional burden and results in nothing good, rather if they criticize you harshly than don't take it personal(way easier said than done). If all they can do is rant about how you are a shitty player and to uninstall, then mute them without a second thought, but if they tell you what you SHOULD be doing, then only pay attention to that).

So once someone can cope with making mistakes, they can feel more comfortable realizing that it is perfectly okay to admit to making those mistakes and can be even more apt to fixing them(when you let a mistake slowly kill you, you tend to feel helpless which is why some people like me have wanted to ff so easily and judge ourselves often). Once they see that it is okay to admit their mistakes, they will act more humble which can not only avoid fights but also make them perform better.

I am not trying to generalize this community but it is something i feel needs to be talked about more often. Recently my games have been shit. Usually i get around 60-70(sometimes 80) last hits and 1 or 2 kills 10 minutes after minions spawn, but recently it has been as terrible as 40-60 cs and 0-1 kills. this of course has cost me a few matches and my jungling skills are very questionable(im a new jungler playing amumu). I tend to make stupid decisions or even ult when i don't want to(i want to hit E but hit R for some reason, this only happens with amumu). Sure, ive had good games with amumu like when i went 7/7/20 were i helped bot and mid a lot( i admit i might of have neglected top a bit but at least our cho'gath was doing decent). But some games like my most recent one were not very good. LOLRecorder doesnt work as it is extremely unreliable for me for some reason.

Im sorry for the extremely lost post but i hope that someone has benefitted from this as well as give me some JG tips!

Im only trying to be helpful and don't mean to call anyone out personally so if there is something wrong or misleading please just say it.

Happy 4th of July to all NA users!

more of just people need to learn to control their emotions and actually understand what is happening. A player will die 5 times in a row fighting instead of farming but blame the jungler or whatever but they are doing it because that is what they THINK is how to play the game when in reality its not. Alot of rage actually comes from a lack of knowledge and dunning kruger syndrome combined.
