I'm doing 1-2 matches a night and climbing quite easily with a 63% win rate (90 games, 86 with Nami). Still usually getting over 25LP per win so I'm confident I'll hit Plat by next week.
What I want to know is what should I be improving to stay there ? Any tips or advanced guides more specific to my needs?

Publius1011 voteshmm well i'm a plat 5-3 nami main, so maybe i'll have something useful - feel free to look at my build - i like to go frostqueen-tear-sightstone-mobi boots-upgrade frostqueen/trinket. then situational locket/zeke's if they have more ap/ad and then whatever your team needs. my spell order is somewhat different from yours - i go qwwe and max wqe, in that order. i think q is more useful generally than w at lvl 1, especially if the enemy support has ignite and they hit 2 before you and all in, or if you get ganked at 2, or if you want to invade... you get the idea. then having 2 ranks of w at 3 is more useful than e imo, both for poke and heal. as for gameplay, bubbles are just practice - practice max range, practice when they jump on your face or when you're running for your life, practice when they're tp-ing to a ward etc. everything else is pretty straightforward but if you have specific questions i can think about them. your only real counter is blitz if you can't dodge grabs, but note that sona will outtrade you so don't even try, and recently i've noticed that bard does as well, but don't have enough experience vs him to say yet. also soraka is annoying and i hate her. put a pink in the river bush asap. just do it.

As a Sona main, this is only partly accurate.
You get outraded by Sona if 1) you can't bubble her and 2) you don't work well with your ADC.
With any cooperation from a half-decent ADC and good Qs on her part, Nami can put a LOT of pressure on Sona, forcing her to heal up her lane, and that is a LOT of mana she isn't using to harass you (W is nearly twice the mana cost of her Q, and in terms of mana efficiency is vastly inferior to Nam's own W).
All that Sona has on Nami is that 1) she hits like a truck and 2) her hard CC comes off faster, however Nami beats her in everything else.
I honestly hate facing a good Nami as Sona because I feel like playing vs myself 2.0 - like Nami is the Sona that Riot allows to be good.
Publius1011 votesyes it's true that if your adc helps with trades you can generally win, but in soloq most adcs are unreliable so you're as likely to get help as the enemy is. in simple 1v1 trades sona's q+aa beats nami's combo, especially since it's guaranteed hit and lower cd than nami's skillshot q+w/aa. so ya, you can definitely win vs her, but you have to be smart with your trades, whereas most other lanes you can just trade whenever you feel like it.
