How do I play against a Heimerdinger?

Focus on your farming or wave clear. Straight up trying to fight Heimerdinger as a presumably melee ranged Fighter is a really, really easy way to start losing health.

You can avoid the problem in its entirety if you know how to proxy farm, and your champion is designed for it.

You don't beat a Heimerdinger in lane. You farm under tower and outscale.

kill turrets when he puts them up, never dive turret(s)

Don't fight him.

kill turrets as soon as they get up. he has no wave clear other wise. champs that out range him and his turrets have an easy time with him. u can troll the crap out of heim if u pick veig cause heim's main source of damage just became extra ap to farm

Kill his turrets and dodge his skillshots. The turrets are his main source of dps so if you take those out, he deals significantly less dmg. If you can't deal with him, let the minions push to your tower and farm then ask your jungler to gank.

Heimer is simple to counter if you know how, syndra , ahri, and lux are particularly good but your best bet is any high damage long range champion. completely ignore hiemer himself. focus his turrets. they have insane cooldowns so if you can kill them you get about 10 seconds to make him beg for mercy, but always be wary of his ult

Alt 1: farm passively, cause you'll eventually outscale him (well assuming if you're playing Orianna or late game mages) Alt 2: Play Syndra, Ahri. If played correctly especially Syndra, these champions can dump El Donger in the dumpster. Alt 3: Don't fight Heimer if you're melee. pls lol

Try running a more tanky item set and also take out his turrets before you take out him

Have to sit back and farm away from his turrets or dodging them if you are in range. Don't fight the heimer unless you are certain you can all in him and still have the mobility to get away from his ulti turret.
