What's it take to get over 50% win rate? ;l

So my room mate pointed out that at the end screen of every game, it displays your total wins and total losses so Yeah, I started paying attention to it more frequently

I've noticed that I have a pretty good 50% win rate, my losses and wins are pretty much the same I look over at that guy and he has like 200 wins above his losses... hoh lee schit I want that kind of satisfaction but I can never EVER deviate from that 50%... I know this is intended by Riot, 50% win rate is only fair, but then its totally possible to be an outlier

I figure I need to both go on win streaks and improve.. annnnd I would say I DO go on win streaks occasionally, I have no way of measuring but I'm guessing I'm improving? lol well fuq you riot, it hasnt been working out >:l i get as far as like... idk 6 wins above my losses and Rito be like.. NUPE, twas as far as u go

Want to improve your winrate? Best advice I can give is this:

If YOU are performing poorly, take two losses consecutively as a hint to call it a day.

If teammates are doing badly, leave after three losses, this assuming you've played less than six games already. Naturally if I lose my first 3 games, half the time I'm done for the day.

Always dodge when you get the "X or feed!" guy, even if he gets his role, 9/10 times they suck with the role.

Play your best role and best champion, if you can't get them, dodge.

Alternatively you can force someone else to dodge, but for obvious reasons my official suggestion is for you to not do this.

Make plays. That's the biggest secret. If you can learn how to make plays in your ELO that can win for you, that will help greatly. I had a significant ELO jump last season from when I went s1 to p1 just because I had a high farm, high income jungle style. With this gold advantage I could make massive plays, I could train their ADC or most fed player and kill them singlehandedly in most cases and win the teamfight.

Count the next 20 games of ranked you play, if you manage to win 11/20 of them, you'll climb. As long as you tend to win more than you lose you'll always climb, just the speed will vary.

  1. Luck

The game is designed to get you to a point where you are playing with people at your skill level. If both teams have an equal level of skill they each have a 50% chance of winning.

You may go +10 or more sometimes but you will get knocked down eventually.

Players with unusually high win rates are generally high ELO smurfs. Their MMR takes longer to catch up to their skill level. Some smurfs even dodge their placements to remain at a lower Rank.

Last season, my best friend achieved over a 70% win rate and got up to plat by playing wu kong. He just got super good at the early game, and would almost always get first blood, regardless of the lane opponent. Then he would just split push for days. While it's a strategy that doesn't work as well if the enemy is properly coordinated, it worked consistently enough for him that he just always did it.

Protip: after winning 3 in a row, play 10 ARAMS straight. I almost guarentee that you will lose 7 or more of them. Now those 7 could've been ranked games.

Is it just your ranked wins/losses you can see? Or can you see normals too?

You do it by not letting your mmr get to where it should be. play to much/get unlucky with an accurate placement of your account, the mmr system catches up to you and your screwed.

easiest way is to smurf.

lol just realized i have no idea what my normals win rate is xD going to go check this now
