WHY DO PEOPLE HATE BARON

For the 2yrs (or more) years I've played this game I rarely ever get to use the baron buff. The new baron buff makes pushing lane a walk in the park. Every time my team gets an ace they choose to push to a tower instead of getting baron. It's understandable if you have low hp, but when you have enough time (from ace) and hp, killing baron should be the first thing on your mind.

you want baron to push towers, they want to push towers directly, sounds like a pretty clear choice. You get baron when you can't push because enemy is defending turret, there is no other reason to risk doing baron

It's not hating baron, it's more of the fact that most times it's not worth risking loosing 5 men for a buff

A couple towers and inhibitor is way better than a baron, IMO. Besides, they can go get it after the push.

You take the free tower/inhib, then fall back towards baron while setting up vision and take it if it seems favorable (like enemy team is up but has to deal with creeps in their base). You definitely don't prioritize it after an ace.

Towers don't respawn, baron's do.

It's not a matter of hating Baron buff, it's a matter of winning the game. Getting Baron doesn't win games, pushing down towers does. Yes the baron buff is helpful with that but when there's no enemy to defend turrets then taking the turrets is the better choice.

Now if the enemy team comes back up and has to clear out their base for a few waves and your team isn't super low on HP then Baron may not be a bad decision, so long as you're warding the path the enemy may take to try and steal.

baron is there to help out the losing team, if you have just aced the other team you are most likely in control of the game so you dont need to get the baron buff to win or push the lanes so why risk it. even if you did just ace the other team it will take a good amount of time to kill baron and most likely by the time you have killed it the other team will be up and acouple of them will be there to fight you while you are taking baron or right after it when you are already weakened from the first team fight and from taking baron.

while baron buff is great it is mostly a win more and is rarely worth the risk to try to get it.
