Pink Wards in Laning phase: They are almost always worth losing a couple CS to defend

Supports feed ADC's all the gold, and spend their scraps to defend them but some would rather get 2 CS for 28g than defend the 100g spent on a Pink and let the enemy get 30g off it which opens you up to ganks as a result. It's not a good trade. Keep that in mind when they can't afford to buy another one and you die due to lack of vision.

The problem: You're Sona, the enemy's Blitz. The Blitz notices your pink in tribush and goes hit it. You go there to "stop" him, but instead you get pulled and raped by both him and the enemy ADC, and they kill your pink later anyway. I only defend it if I'm playing a tank support, otherwise for most part it's suicidal to try defend the pink against one.
