Which ADC would be best for me?

Hi everyone,

I've been playing league of legends for about 6 months now, so I've tried out most of the positions to see which one I prefer, but I still don't have much experience playing AD Carry, and I think I'd like to learn it.

Usually, I main mid lane assassins and fighters, because it's the role I can usually carry my team from, so I was wondering if there is an ADC champion that I could play to get similar results from.

I've looked into snowbally ADCs like Lucian Lucian , Kalista Kalista , Vayne Vayne , and Jinx Jinx , but I can't decide on which one to get. Basically what I'm asking, is which champion you you recommend me, based on the play style I mentioned before? Any other recommendations would appreciated as well.

Thank you in advance for any feedback.

Did you know you can get Tristana free (with her Riot Girl skin) by following Riot on Facebook? https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/202083184-Promotional-Content-Free-Swag-#h2

Other than that, I think I like Jinx the most from that selection. All the ADC's play pretty differently, so you just have to find out for yourself which you prefer the most. Watching pros playing them the right way (such as in the LCS -) may help.

So you main fighters?

Well Graves is the tankiest ADC due to his passive so he doesn't have as much of a problem getting up close to his enemies as other ADC's. Quinn is underpowered but she can have her moments, and her ult turns her into an assassin but keep in mind it does not make her tankier, so you have to be careful.

Sivir is also pretty good, her spellshield can make her tough to kill when timed right, and she has fighter-level waveclear which allows her to push lanes without putting herself in danger.

Go with Jinx or Vayne since it looks like Riot will never actually do a significant nerf to them. They hard carry games.

Vayne. (she my fav ADC)

I recommemd Quinn. She has good mobility and roam potential with ult. Self peel with Q (blinds enemy making them miss autos... Specifically good against other marksmen). Increased vision with W. (Good for both finding targets in the FoW and escaping potential ganks) So reposition witj E (good against melees) and AoE on second part of ult.

Jinx is the easiest and most fun in my opinion. She is my main adc b/c i switched to her from Sivir b/c sivir coulnd't hard-carry enough. I love her so much, and after i've played her a lot i realize how cool her kit and character are. Jinx by far.

Kalista is neat and really good, just too hard for me and i dont have the time to practice her.

But jinx, nothing like a cross map ult and killing the enemy mid. So rewarding. And she easily gets back into game if you have a good teamfight

For a fighter player I recommend Graves because he is the most durable ADC and his dash forgives minor positioning mistakes.

Lucian is garbage in the current meta. I have played him several times and I find him lacking even with a full AD build (though I like abusing On-Hit due to his passive)

Vayne has a serious reputation for being toxic next to Riven but she has a very strong lategams and is in a good spot right now.

Jinx is arguably the hardest carry dye to her extreme pushing/siege potential the others just don't have but she is very unforgivibg of bad positioning.

Kalista is mechanically complex because nearly all her power relies on Orb-Walking. If you can do it, you are a god. If you can't, you'll feed.

Jinx is the easiest and the most rewarding for the least effort.

Lucian is a lot like draven in terms of Lane dominance and getting leads but he doesn't get AD spikes like draven, he gets level spikes (2,6,9).

Vayne is the best in this meta I believe. she has 2 (3? with ult invis) self-peels but she is the hardest. you have to know when to vayne spot and when not to if you aren't gosu (which you might be, I don't know).

If you are good with your mouse or use attack move a lot you can be a decent Kalista, but you can't use attack move and you have to practice a lot to be a great kalista. she spikes after BT and hurricane and excels at mid-late game and dominates early with w passive and a ranged support (thresh is love).

IMO if you are going to put in the effort I would learn vayne. if you don't know if you like adc, do jinx or Lucian. and if you have good mechanical and game sense skills in general do Lucian or kalista.

Disclaimer: PLEASE try graves. He is my favorite adc and I only play him or Thresh/nautilus and I've climbed 8 divisions since specializing. Anyways, good luck with your quest to find a good marksman!Graves + Nautilus = ez lane

EDIT: I just checked your profile. I would get to level 30 before specializing because some (kalista) won't work without masteries. and I have a lot of trouble last hitting with jinx early without full ad runes.

Try out lucian, he is a pretty strong adc and he does everything well. He is the jack of all trades adc

Kalista: Huge time investment to get good at her, pretty good once you learn how to play her Vayne: Decent time investment to get good, huge reward once you do. Jinx: Easier to learn, less powerful on her own but still a very good pick in the current meta. Lucian: I have no idea.

vayne is assassiny while quinn, graves, and trist come to mind as sort of fightery.

Jinx is the best out of that group of four for what you want. She isn't difficult to play. She has a lot of damage. She's fun to play. She is an extreme carry. Her only downside is her bad early game, but her E provides peel if an enemy wants to attack.
