How to CS better?

I main mid and I've noticed that while I have a ton of kills my CS is usually around 110 by 20 min, sometimes lower if i'm not concentrating hard on csing. How do I get better at csing? I understand that its simple to just wait for the minion to get low and kill it, but I just focus on kills and try to harass my enemy as much as possible to get them to a health zone where I can burst them down. I keep AAing minions, and not only last hit because I get bored just waiting for the minions to get low.

"i get bored waiting for minions to get low" so watch the map, go out and ward do stuff besides just sit there

Depending on the mage/assassin you're playing, consider:

  • Using AoE skills to farm the minion waves.
  • Use single target spells on siege minions once they hit a low amount of health.

That includes ultimates too with low cool down.
