I rest mine with my pinky finger on Q. Is that wrong, can it be wrong, or does everyone do something different? Is this just preference or are there benefits to have your pinky hover over the tab button?
ring finger on Q, middle on W, index on the divet between E and R. I don't feel like my pinky's reaction time is fast enough considering how many important skills rest on Q
probably going to be entirely redoing my keybinds here soon though to match the MMO I play for consistency XD
I prefer pinky on q, but that's so I don't accidentally press ult when I reach indent finger over instead of ward. It also feels more comfortable for me, and I have been doing it since I started.
I have my left pinky finger on Q, every other finger on my left hand on W, E, R. Then my left thumb lying on space or D and F (usually in fights). Of course right hand on the mouse. I think pinky on Q is normal, everyone I know does it.

Oh boy I'm trying different ways but it feels so unconfortable xD I put my middle finger on Q, index finger on E, thumb on space. I press all of the other keys with the index finger too o_O Has been working wonders for 3 years xD

I think most moba players do that.
pinky on q, ring on w, middle on e, index on r, thumb on spacebar (for champ follow toggling). My right hand i use my middle and ring fingers to click and scroll the track pad, more efficient and comfortable than index and middle.
I do pinky on shift so I can smart-cast easily (shift+q/w/e/r)
I play on a touch pad... and my fingers generally hover over the keys I think I will want to press in the near future. I move my hand all over when I play.
