How to Counter Nautilus

(SKIP THIS IF NEEDED--just clarifying a few things)-

I usually play unranked since I'm actually really scared to go to ranked, (I will try it again soon), and the only reason why I have a silver border is because I wanted it since it matches most of my skins, (worked so hard to get it). The matches this season is from one of my ex-friends forcing me to go ranked with her because she thinks I was a good Nami / Janna.

Right now I'm trying to play MissFortune since her kit is perfect for me and I do O.K. with her. There is a certain enemy champion I hate... which is Nautilus. (one of the only enemy champions I struggle against/hate besides Zed)

TLDR ; The only enemy champion I struggle against most of the time is Nautilus. I can dodge stuff fine most of the times, but I can never seem to dodge his pull. He is also crazily annoying.

****I have no idea how to counter him, or not even a clue on tips/tricks with fighting against him.

Please try to give me some tips and tricks against him if you can... thank you if you responded!!

I'm assuming this is support Nautilus you're going against.

His all in is something you can't do a whole lot about once you get caught, so avoiding his Q is your #1 objective pre-6. Of course you want to for the rest of the game too, but early game it's his only real engage. Once his Q is down, or whenever you see a good chance to trade, take it. He has no innate support abilities to offer his ally in terms of shields, heals, or steroids (not counting building relic shield), so he suffers in lane where he gets heavily poked down or out-sustained without many chances to engage. It's also worth noting that the worse you wear them down with harass, the harder/riskier it will be for them to all-in you. Worst comes to worst, use your minion waves to block him off from using his Q, make sure that you're practicing stutterstepping (never stop moving except to last hit a minion and it makes you infinitely harder to aim at)

Janna and Nami are two really good choices against him from my experience (Janna lover here). Her ult can pretty much negate his entire ult engage if used right. and the knockup can be timed to cancel his Q near completely. You can also shield a lot their damage while giving your ADC an AD steroid to harass harder.

Hope this helps.
