I miss the old Raka horribly that I will not give up on trying to use her mid, I get she was "Cancerous" but can't they find a happy medium rather than banish her potential in other lanes to the void or be cancerous? Any one still do this Raka in other lanes? If so what's the best you can come up with? Thanks

Why get a chevy tahoe and build like a racecar, what i mean is, everything is possible not always easy, if she is an A- as support why make her C+ as mid or D- as adc.
Hard to imagine it being very exciting except when (if) jungler comes to gank. The slow from Q and the root from E are too easy to avoid in a 1v1. But even if you land them perfectly every time, after your Q and E are on cooldown.. then what? enemy is free to do as they please to you. Not saying it isn't going to ever work, but it doesn't seem effective or as exciting as playing her support.
I played her mid against a Zed and it was very good. Silence pool around yourself and easy to hit the center of Starcall. Then I played her against others and lost horribly.
She's never going to be a lane bully. If you take her in a solo lane, you're trading early laning power for massive utility later (see also: Lulu, Karma, Sona, Janna, etc.)
