@Higher ranked players, What else should I know?

So I'm just a baby silver II looking to get better, and for the most part I've learned a few things that have greatly helped me like keeping track of my own minions to see what one my enemy laner is going for so I can bully them when they go for it, having decent dragon control, being able to at least decently use my zones of control to my advantage to win trades, and am getting better with map awareness using the strategy of getting 1-2 CS then glancing at the map.

I know I need to work on my mid game decision making since it could definitely be better than it is now, but thankfully I can notice my mistakes when I do them, like roaming bot and starting a gank without pinging, extremely stupid mistake for me, but that's an easy fix since I just have to think about what I need to do to not do that again and it's fine.

Preseason is here so now is the perfect time to focus on practicing with more things to improve my play before season 5 starts up, so to all you higher ranked players out there with the nice borders and the cooler icons, what else should I practice to get better at the game?

If you ser trying to ladderclimb, look for ur few best champs and try to play them most, ( ie: I got to gold 2 with zac, ezreal, Olaf, and kennen)

After that, start counting CDs, knowing champ CDs is great for lane control. You can look them up while loading in.

Third, don't rely on teammates,

Fourth, always look for the next objective to take, and take a minute or so to prep for it if the opposing team is up.

Also a huge part of it is your own micro mechanics. Knowing which skills work as auto resets so you can go free damage. And knowing the range of your opponents skills. Also knowing how fast those kills travel.

Since you mentioned midgame decision making, probably mostly learning where to be on the map and how to manage time better. A lot comes down to watching creep waves and seeing where people will be rotating on the map based on where minions are, and where you can force fights, or where you're vulnerable to having a turret threatened based on how many people have to recall. Get a good feel for how quickly you can push someplace, rotate and siege a turret with a numbers advantage, then rotate back to defend a turret as minions push in. In silver, people will constantly overstay, or try to push where they won't have minions, and a lot of that is just due to not watching where minion waves are on the map and poor prediction of how people will move.

Map movement actually becomes pretty predictable as people get better, and that's where better players will come up with increasingly clever ways to ambush people and get picks, and why fights over vision become so important.
