Wukong Support as a counterpick to Blitzcrank

Thoughts on viability? I've ran it half a dozen times or so and won the lane each time. Mind you this is low silver/bronze I'm taking about. Then again that is more than half of the player base, so I it could be useful.

PROS: Decoy counters blitz hard if you have good timing. Armor shred for you ADC from crushing blow. Quick stacking armor shred with Black Cleaver for a damage item. Decent harass. Very nice aoe CC for post 6 team fights/anti-ganks/and general laning. You're a monkey.

CONS: No pre-6 peel for your ADC other than your exhaust. No sustain outside of relic shield. Less tanky than some picks. Low base damage if build full tank. Can backfire horribly with misjudged decoys/lag. You're a monkey.

I've ran with 9/0/21, 0/9/21, and a few more odd choices like 0/15/15. Had luck with basically any mastery spec. I've ran Flat AD/AS/Flat Armor/Flat MR, Flat Armor/Scaling Armor/Flat HP/5/Scaling MR, and couple other rune sets.

I've maxed Q and W first.... honestly preferred W for a blitz counter.

Thoughts?

I would do this if I had Wukong just to piss Blitz players off.

Not because I'm an ass, but because I'm still traumatized from my newbie days when Blitz mains discovered all chat...

I can see this work with safer laners like caitlyn, sivir or tristana.

The biggest problem is that Blitzcrank scales better into lategame than you (if build tanky) and only needs one lucky Q.

But in order to counter a kill lane with the goal to an early finish/surrender this works I guess.

To be honest, this is kinda based on the intelligence of the Blitzcrank. If he's smart he ain't gonna hook you, he's gonna hook your ADC.

I honestly think that the best "blitz counter" would be zyra supp. If you're quick enough to use decoy to block/bait a hook then you should be about quick enough to plant a seed and turn it into a plant in front of the hook. Its kinda harder I suppose but it can also be done in front of your ADC when the blitz hooks them (like he should be doing)
