CDR Tank Rengar
I've found this to be pretty successful on both jungle and top. I was wondering how the community would go about doing it, since there is an obvious lack of content on the Internet regarding it.

It's great as long as the enemy can't see your build
You really want to have some kill pressure with
, which is why I try builds like this:
works well when you aim for carries.
Whenever I'm aiming for a tanky assassin, I build similarly.
^ Don't you just love
? Anyway, I tend to switch it up, sometimes trading
for
, or getting a
in there to boost the Q.
My usual build lately for top Rengar is something akin to this:

I take 9/21 masteries and scaling armor / magic resist with hybrid pen and lifesteal quints on top of a few scaling CDR runes. I'm currently testing out 21/9, but I just really love getting low in a team fight and popping my roar for around a 1k heal.
In the jungle, my build is similar to this:

I still love to get get my damage fat, but I do love a Spirit Visage~
I'd probably go with this:
, twas nice to find someone like-minded on champion builds~

I like tank Rengar, because he still does tons of damages. Even with just Triforce, he is a real threat to the ADC. He also takes turrets SUPER quickly, and that helps him snowball him and his team.
Indeed ^
It was great (borderline OP to be honest) but it got heavy nerf with W getting reduced stat bonus, base dmg and the heal was changed frmo 10% max hp to this stupid lvl-based heal which increases if you are low hp.
Nowadays i wouldn't really do it.
However if you start 1-2 tank items to hlep u getting through the laning phase/early game and THEN switch to dmg build - that's a very viable alternative. Say you rush sunfire with SV for a bit of armor/resist and hp. Then you can start stacking dmg.
Anyways fulltank rengar wont really cut it. He has no meaningful utility to worth it.
Oh, no. Full tanks have no place in the meta, I believe. I always build some form of damage.
I usually only build triple tank items. Rarely, I do find myself building full tank with only one damage item. I was just curious to see how you guys would do it.
Bump! I'm still looking for advice.
Bump again!
