Why do my abilities activate so slowly?

The title may seem a bit misleading of what I'm talking about, but here it is. I really need to be a better Riven, as she is my favorite champion, so I started watching higher tier players when I have the chance. I noticed this when I saw other people play Riven, not just the higher ups, but everyone seems to be able to activate Broken Wings in a much quicker succession than I can. Now it might sound like I'm talking about the combos, but I'm not, I'm talking about just using Broken Wings 3 times in a row, very quickly. I can't tell what I'm doing wrong, they can just start and finish all three strikes in roughly 1-1.5 seconds, while I take a decently longer time to get them off. I would very much appreciate any non-sarcastic help with this, so please, well, help.

It could either be your internet, computer, or both. Do you play with an ethernet cable or wifi?

I'm using an Ethernet cable, I was thinking it could be my keyboard but after doing a bit more research I found that even pros don't generally use some mega $200 keyboard, so I'm fairly certain that's not it but there is still some doubt.

Well that doesn't even matter because the only thing smart cast effects on her abilities is Wind Slash, go ahead and try i, that'll be the only difference.

No, I understand that, just moving in a single direction and activating Broken Wings all 3 times, without AAing or anything.

why not q rightclick move i lil bit aa q rightclick move a lil bit aa and e then q a lil aa and w? like each time the anmiation finishes for aa you cancel it short after the dmg hits and keep it a moving so as to get ahead of enemy.

Again, that's not what I'm talking about, I understand the animation canceling, I'm talking about just Qing 3 times in a row going down a lane without doing anything else.
