I stopped playing adc anymore cause of ad or ap champs catching up to me!!!! I've tried a lot but I can't kite. my main adc is vayne and cause of her short range I get caught a lot. there is only 2 things I can do either to run or to fight and a get a kill and die my self too!!!! so plz if u guys can give me tips or wanna like play a game with me or anything. I'm up for it!!!!
Okay, you'll need some materials first. String Scotch Tape Plastic bag 2 Sticks
Cut the plastic into a diamond then use the 2 sticks to reenforce it. Tape a string to the bottom. Wait for 
to use gust and you should be set.
Make it a habit to move after every auto attack, kiting becomes second nature after that.
If you want to learn how to kite effectively, play Ashe. Her kit teaches players how to kite.
As people mentioned, it does take some practice to get used to kiting. A tip: right click on a minion/champ/whatever you want to AA, then right click somewhere else to move.

You should play Ashe to learn how to kite. She's easier and you can make your way up.
Sivir's passive and Jinx's Q actually allows kiting to be much easier.
Sivir's passive gives you a move speed buff when you hit a champion. This means you can catch or run away from an enemy.
Jinx's Fishbones gives you +100 range on your AA so that means that you can be out of your minigun's range but you can still kite by attacking with rockets.

Auto move is very good, One thing you need to keep in mind is that you need to stay alive to do damage as the adc so play safe and attack from afar (tumble away from melee, because they have to get in range first to do damage) so don't do this thing where you tumble into enemies because you'll just feed and put urself in melee range (Vayne Melee form is NOT OP). Your E is a huge kiting tool as it is essentially a Lee Sin kick without the knockup. Q comboed with E is the ultimate positioning tool. Go watch LCS (NA>EU KAPPA KAPPA) like Double or Piglet and watch their mechanics and break it down for yourself. GL! If you have more questions reply and I will try to answer.
It's really just practice; going into a custom game and just practicing vs minions or monsters or bots helps. I also find attack move helps a ton, unless you have really good mechanics. Attack move is default bound to A + LMB, so you hit A and left click just like you would a non-quick-cast spell, or Shift + RMB, which is sort of like smart-casting a spell. I prefer using A since it also gives you your AA range and helps you maintain good zone, so it's just practicing the button combination until it becomes second nature.
