The Way I Got Better @ Ranked

So last year i finally reached level 30 and was able to start playing ranked. I ultimately ended up finishing in bronze 5 but i was okay with that. I used my first season of ranked to gain experience of how to play better, i basically only played ranked during that time discovering which champions should be in m champion pool and also learning how to play with people better than me. Sadly this season after provisionals i stayed in bronze 5 but i continued playing ranked and i was able to climb all the way up to silver 4. I am still trying to reach gold this year, however everyone asks me how to get out of bronze and my only advice to you is to play as much ranked as possible and learn new things about the way you play.

agreed. It does help to read and watch tutorials, but the only way to get better mechanically and to get to know champions, their limits and abilities, is to play. It can help to practice CSing and combos in custom games tho. Learning just how much cs really matters, practicing last hitting in custom games and actually keeping up farming after laning, is what, I think, got me from b3 to b1 In the very low bronze (b4), you can simply win by ignoring the rest of the players and pushing objectives, while others mindlessly chase each other around the map :b

Mechanics are a thing, but they aren't everything, especially not the most important.

I use to be a mechanically intense player, but I've researched a lot and it turns out decision making is the key deciding factor.

So if you really want to win, focus on making very very good decisions.

There are videos out there that actually help when they speak about decision making
