Should I buy Miss Fortune or Vayne?
Basically, I'm looking for a third ADC to round off my picking options. I'm practiced with Caitlyn and Jinx, so I wondered over picking up Fort or Vayne while they're on sale.

Caitlyn and MF fill the same early game bully role, so you might want to go with Vayne if you're looking for a round-off pick.
MF has an extremely strong mid game.
Vayne has a strong midgame with BoTRK. MF is the most aggressive adc in the game early on, falls off late though but as steroid keeps her toe to toe with other ad's
vayne is almost impossible to play well under diamond so i suggest mf
Personally I really like 
for something totally different.
Yeah I know people do a double take when you pick her adc, but it works for me.
She has no AS steroid, but she has build in hybrid damage and defense reduction, so she can afford to buy more AS (Runaan)
She has speed, slow, heal and barrier, so is quite save on her own, allowing for more agressive supports.
She has no escape except for a weak speed boost unless it's maxed Poor laning phase due to 550 range Melee 1/3 of the time Ult is unreliable , you can easily be cc'd throughout the duration Every single lane bully crushes her Every late game adc outscales her
