I am assuming you are asking because you want to use him competitively, so the answer is no. Some champions have fun kits, and might allow you to do okay in lane, even stomp it. As an example a lot of new players will gravitate towards Teemo. He looks cute, has a simple kit, and is pretty fun but, Teemo isn't going to solo carry a game consistently or contribute much when behind. Yorick is kind of like teemo, interesting kit, simple, allows you to occasionally do good, but won't let you carry the game. Instead you should pick something reliable and something that has a consistent and defined play style. As an example you could pick Xerath, Ziggs, LB, Lux, etc.
