Why does red buff and morellonomicon remove ALL healing?

There's nothing about this in their tool tips. They supposedly deal damage over time - so why do they also straight up remove all healing from their targets? Why do BOTH of these items do that, rather than only one of them?

Whats stupid is that it 100% stops healing instead of just reducing heal effectiveness

...they don't.

Healing HP+ is put against DoT hp-, both are happening. If one of those numbers is bigger than the other you aren't going to see them both happening, it will just look like the one is.

Phantom dancer makes crits and sword of divine deal zero damage, negating healing completely sounds familiar.

There's two different items that give healing why not two with grievous, your still relying on rng for the components for them it's not like redbuff was very good beforehand.

A lot of stuffs got changed this patch thornmail returns 100% of mitigated damage as true damage to the attacker.

That's the only to justify numbers like 50% Lifesteal on BT... Without some for GWs you could stack them every game for freewin.

The items don't stack so building both is a waste of resources. They exist as counter-play to healing/unkillable carries like PD/Warmogs/hextech Shyv. Riot is bad at giving all the information in their tooltips and they need to fix that at least.
