Grab a Shadow champion early, Veigar or Malz doesnt matter, you only want them for that Shadow bonus. Target Kindred. Itemize your Kindred with AP and mana. Ideally Archangels+deathcap+anything. Ludens is a acceptable replacement to archangels. She will open every match with Shadow bonus>1shot something instantly>reset shadow bonus>1shot something again, and reliably carry you into late game EVERY TIME, even if you dont have a function comp.

You're missing out on the Giant Slayer / RageBlade / Runaan's build. But especially, you want a Giant Slayer on Kindred. She already applies Grievous Wounds, you want her to take out those tanks quickly.
