Everybody hates Cursed Blade. However, if Riot doesn't want to remove it, I at least propose this simple change. Cursed Blade should only be able to reduce enemy star level down to the level of the wearer. This way, Cursed Blade can still be effective against high star level units, but players must choose what units they want to place the item on to get the most benefit.
What there was a limit to the number of reduced tier based on the wearer's tier. So a tier 1 Tristana reduces 1 opponent tier, a tier 2 Tristana reduces 2 tiers (1 or multiple units), and so on? A chance to reduce 3 tier 3 units, or even 3 tier 2 units by one level each still seems plenty strong late game to me (3-18 gold value vs each opponent assuming full value on a t3 wearer).
Having an item get worse as the game goes on is counter intuitive and bad design.
