Getting the Gold in the Early Rounds...

...Doesn't feel great but is deceptively more useful than people seem to realize. Getting the early gold means being able to pick up early champions, increasing the likelihood of grabbing extra silvers or champions with shared synergies. You may have planned to go nobles and picked up Vayne the first draw and left Graves only to see 2 Graves and a Tristana in the next round. Well, if you had that extra gold, you could have bought the Graves and gone into the first PVP rounds with a Silver Graves and Tristana, drastically shifting your best-case strategy. Meanwhile, if instead of that 1G you picked up a Spatula or a Chain Vest, your item would likely still be sitting on the side providing no immediate benefit.

I mean, yeah. I got hit with the gold start some 5 games in a row until I started to embrace it. Go nobles + another unit for synergy. Rush Level 4 and start your first PvP round with Garen, Lucian, Vayne and Tristana. Snowball that winstreak to level 6, that's where some other combos turn on and you might actually lose HP.

It is better than nothing, but item rng is a problem. And probably will be forever because riot thinks that this is a cool and exciting feature they invented themseles after copypasted the whole mode from dota.

I was actually about to install DOTA Underlords but for a simple game it required too much space so in the end I passed. The only reason TFT is so big success is because LoL itself and its champions and realm is very popular. If someone played LoL but also DOTA Underlords then he most likely switched to TFT because the champions, lore and realm is far better here. If someone didn't play autochess before introducting TFT (like me for example) then despite he thinks the game sucks he is unlikely to try DOTA Underlords because he doesn't know the champions at all. Whoever plays LoL can hop into TFT easily, champs works the way one would expect, items are similar and easy to understand as well and overally it is fun to watch how your team battles enemy and you don't need 100% focus nor mechanics nor good ping to play it either.
