I mean.... I'm not bad at TFT, Usually there are things you can do with RNG that prevent you from being 8th.... but eventually you get to a point where everyone knows the same shit you do and no matter what you do, 8th place is a realistic finish. It's frustrating knowing that because you got 0 items from PVE you have no chance against the minimum 4 guys who got good RNG. Then the game makes you face them multiple times and you just pray that somehow you get that special 2nd level carry that you've been looking for xD

Once I got shit enough luck I got 8th place, but it's pretty rare for that to happen. If you're consistently getting fuck that hard by RNG you need to change your strategy.

Right okay.... getting stomped by the guy in first place who has all the item/unit advantage 4 times in a row isn't RNG? Nor is it RNG when you are just before wolves and you have a full bench of 1 cost units which you haven't been able to upgrade to tier 2.

Bottom line, RNG can give you automatic 8th place, it's rare but it happens.

This post is entirely wrong. While I don't agree with most of those complaining about RNG issues, matchmaking matches you with players who are as equal to your skill level as possible, which means in any given game, someone who is statistically just as skilled as someone else is going to end up in 8th place while the other person ends up not in 8th place.

It will never give you up. It will never let you down.
