I made a post about this. Couldn't level up a Vladimir despite 30+ rerolls and no one using him except 3 copies. I got 3rd place a with a lvl 1 in play and 1 on my bench. How is it tactics if the game can just drop a champion out of the game? 5 copies of a lvl 1 champ until stage 6-4? Makes no sense.

Then it's your mistake for not playing around it. Why would you continue to keep a useless piece instead of changing your tactic

The main comps were being used and I had lvl3 - lvl2 and good items in that comp, are you seriously suggesting I could win selling everything? I had the entire comp perfectly except for 1 vlad because no one was using the comp, why would I sell? What stops the system from stopping my next comp?

You think 'entirely new comp > needing 1 card that no one is using'? That doesn't sound right.

Yep. Lost a game because I couldn't roll a Brand. Rolled 50+ gold and didn't see him once despite being lvl 9 and no one else using him at all.
