What if fewer items = better champions?

What if champion rolls in the shop were adjusted based on the number of items you got? For example: it's lategame and you have 0 items. Since you have no items your champion rolls are adjusted instead of being purely random: if you have 5 nobles, then your chances of rolling nobles is dramatically higher, if you have 2 silver Lucians you have a dramatically higher chance of rolling Lucian, etc.

This way rito would be able to keep their RNG they seem to love so much, while making it possible to still compete when you are getting shafted by the item drop RNG.

Do you know that, after raptors, everyone have the same amount of items?

I'm going to be honest: Climbing is easy once you know the meta, irregardless of if you get a lot of items or not.

You really only need 2-3 whole items to take out an entire team.

The key to winning is your economy. Do you spend the entire game rerolling or building up Tier 1 3 stars? You're going to get stuck and have #8 games which wipe out 2-4 winning games.

Know what champions do damage, and how to keep them alive long enough to do it.

Hint: There's only 3-4 reliable damage dealers in the entire kit who influence wins at high elos. Everything else is sloppy pick up kills taking advantage of people having poor unit placement.

Also, being able to know which comps are good early game but suck late game is important, and knowing when to transition out of them is important too (ie Gunslinger is early game, but should at least be pruned down to 2 gunslingers near end of game). Saving those items for the champs you save in that transition can spell the difference between win/loss.

Hint: I've scored #1 on 12 of my last 14 games.......
