Why do people do that?
I remember a jackass Yasuo who was afk for like 8 minutes, he came back into the lane and went all anime-comeback at me. Motherfucker got put down in the dirt so hard he ragequitted 20 minutes later, after abusing me and his teammates.
Sit back and farm jerks, you're getting a favor, don't waste it.

LOL I try to do this all the time, i remember having to go go against a lone 
support 2v1 because her ADC never connected till about 8mins later. Me and my adc wanted to just chill and farm so we left her alone while she solo farmed....but then she started spamming Q's on us in between last hits.....it was annoying so we just decided to pour our efforts into harassing her back. She was 0/3 before her adc connected
You should have just continued farming soraka. You should have just continued farming and it wouldn't have had to come to this...WE WERE BEING NICE Q_Q.
I also remember going top lane against a 
. He stopped moving right in front of me in the middle of the minion wave, i noticed that he was probably dc'd and proceeded to farm AROUND him for about 2mins while he was lagging all over the lane xD.
But then his jungler showed up and they both killed me.....how fking RUDE MAN.
I sorta stopped doing this for people because of scenarios like the above happening now.....its like people don't want you to be nice to them xD.

enemy darius reconnected when i (fiora top) was around lvl 5... i let him farm a bit, so he'd feel safe in lane,,, by the time i had lvl 6 i went all in, and he won
then he won the next fight...then the game
sigh, i suck

I mean I am totally fine stacking off minions but if you are dumb enough to pick a fight with a Nasus who has been free-farming for 10 minutes then I will have no qualms stacking off you too
This literally just happened to me I was farming bot lane as Kalista and enemy Blitzcrank was all by himself cause Twitch was afk or something Twitch comes back to level 1 gank w/ jax jungler and I die. So from that point on I just killed Twitch over and over
I do this in normals, but buddy if you decide to risk ranked and have a poor internet connection I got bad news for you (the letting them farm before they suddenly attack me).
Though I have had some games where I poke the enemy in an attempt to just try and get them to back off a bit for them to only say "No, go ahead and farm." and afterwards I just leave them alone unless my jungler comes. Then I only join in the fight cause the jungler refused to leave the guy alone lol
Had mirror match like this yesterday, ADC didn't connect and told the support to go ahead and farm. ADC finally connects and begs to just farm so I allow it to be 4 man ganked. Lol was all over after that.
I'm a honorable man.
That's why I will put the AFK out of their misery and end the game.
I remember, i was playing ADC Jinx and the enemy had a vayne afk, she came back after 10minutes. I was around level 7 at the time and she was level 2. My health got low because minion aggro. Then vayne and her supp blitzcrank tried to kill me, which obviously backfired because i was level 7. I killed vayne and escaped from blitzcrank. Then it was over, if she wants to play aggressive she can eat my rockets.
Afterwards "ALL Vayne: noobs killing lvl 2"
Maybe I'm just a jerk then xD The other day, a teemo failed to connect and I was able to free-farm till around level 9 before he got back in game. I camped out in the bushes, for a minute, to see if he would push the lane with no regard for where I was..he did. I've had plenty of instances where I lag/dc briefly and people kill me so it's never occurred to me that I should let them farm in peace or give them any chance to catch up. It's not their fault they crashed and I'll feel bad about it after the game. But I came to win.
I would do that to all kinds of lane opponents I have
