how does spell power affect abilities like lulu ult?
i am not too sure about how things like morello and spell power in general interact with lulu ultimate

I dont thing it does affect her... She is more into mana generation than ap and thats why she is a sorc. Why Kassadin is a sorc is bigger question tho~
Not that I am 100% sure... Just observation.
no one does. Sorc as a whole early game sucks because the damage dealing sorcs don't come in until 3-cost. No one knows how 45% spell power affects kassadin/lulu/braum/kayle/graves/draven/shyvana/gnar/nidalee

Spell power affects their abilities in a different way than a normal damage ability. Or at least that’s what disguised toast said in one of his tft vids on YouTube (can’t remember which to source it, sorry!)
I believe that it increases kass shield generation amount/mana burn (not sure which is related to spell power and which is ad based), or with lulu it would grant more bonus health.
I don’t think lulu works with morello since her ult doesn’t cause damage so it wouldn’t apply a burn (unless the knockup would count for it?)
I can test it out tonight if nobody gives a for sure answer since I’m not super certain. But lord knows I enjoy making garbage item builds just to experiment so I can figure it out if nobody lets you know. I did it last night with a double rfc Rengar who had a range of 900 lol

This is how TFT Ability Power works:
1 AP = 1% increase for all magic damage, true damage, shielding and healing.
Almost all TFT spells deal magic damage. Exceptions are Volibear, Draven, Rengar, and Graves. Their spells modify the physical damage of basic attacks.
The AP/Sorc buff increase the amount she heals for. For example rank 1 Lulu ulti heals for 300, if you have the 3 Sorc buff that's increased by 45%, 300x 1.45=435 new heal value.
Lulu ulti doesn't only apply Morello. Morello needs you to do Damage with spells that don't come from items like spark and shiv to be applied and Lulu ulti heals+CCs
Lulu with ap gives more health, I had triple d-cap lulu and she was getting my units to 4K health
As far as I know it increases the severity of the effects. So for something like Lulu ultimate, it would increase the amount of healing given.
For manaless champs, it increases the power of the passive effects that their abilities give.
- Graves I think lets him deal more damage from the spreadshot
- Kassadin increases shield power
- Transformers like Shyv, Gnar and Bid would get better bonus statistics
What I do want to know is how it affects fixed-number integer effects like Braum, Draven and Elise. More damage blocked with Braum? Higher AD scaling for Draven? More Spiderling Damage and HP for Elise? Who knows?
