I played on PBE and Eternals in death recap are the most stupid thing I've ever seen

LIke EAternals are fine, you can introduce them to the store and you can mute it all in a game, but why the fuck would you need to see it in death recap? Is knowing the amount of time that enemy Garen has silenced his enemy with q in his lifetime help you win the game? It seems like something designed to create anger and frustration. PLEASE MAKE THIS MUTABLE IN DEATH RECAP, THIS IS ABSOLUTELY NOT ACCEPTABLE. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO REASON YOU NEED TO KNOW HOW MANY KILLS THE ENEMY HAS IN THEIR LIFE TIME.

So that was the real motivation for finally fixing death recap...

flexternals gonna flex even on your death recap.

This was also my ONLY problem with it. The fact it blocks the ACTUAL game is what bugs me - like it is giving them a very slight advantage for paying money. I appreciate being able to mute it in chat but it's just annoying when I can't see the real game because I have to see how many binds this Lux has gotten.

One tricks are about to flex on everyone, and I can't wait.

Like, there's a pretty easy way to do this.

  • When an Eternal reaches a personal best, display it to everybody.
  • When an Eternal reaches a lifetime milestone, display it to everybody.
  • Let people mute them.
  • Don't show Eternals to others outside the first two conditions.

But then again it doesn't seem like it would have been that hard to make Eternals good in the first place, so yeah...

well death recap finally worked okay-ish after literally 9 or 10 years. obviously they need to fuck it up somehow

Seems like they are trying to give encouragement to keep people playing the game by telling them how much they've done whenever they die.

Too bad they locked it behind a paywall so it won't have the scale to have an impact, though with how in the way that is, I'm not sure how bad that is.

Eternals feel like they were designed by one team, then grabbed by the monetization team who felt they could use it to make more money, missing the original point of them.

Put duct tape on your screen where it is whenever it pops up.

So Death Recap has always been buggy as hell. Instead of fixing it, like they should have LONG LONG AGO, they inflate it even more with these Eternals. Sounds like a great idea. Let's not fix the broken thing and instead glue more shit onto that's as irrelevant as Recap telling me that my Soraka dealt the killing blow.

You clearly as missing the point of Eternals. They're designed for that EXACT reason. To tilt you and show off what that player have achieved on that champion. You will get used to it in time. Not saying that I agree with it, but Riot knows people are paying money to show off and that's what they want.

Eternals are cosmetic and serve no practical purpose, just like skins. I'm sure anyone playing ranked would love the ability to disable the display of skins, for consistent spell effects that are easier to get used to. Unfortunately, showing off is at least a small part of why many players buy skins, and Riot doesn't want to cut into that, so they remain visible - as will Eternals, at least to some degree. Honestly, we're lucky that Riot is allowing players to mute any part of Eternals.

These things are gonna sell like hotcakes, so you might as well get used to them.

How did this stupid shit ever make it to live. Why are there TWO DEATH RECAPS. WHY CAN'T THEY BE DISABLED.

Wait...hold up....what? Can I get a video or picture of this? What the fuck do you mean? Does it literally it like:

Garen: (Has lv 7 mastery and 2 eternals)

Q - 367 physical damage E - 1293 physical damage R - 500 magic damage

JackMcCarry8/20/2019, 11:17:44 AM1 votes

Do you also get mad when someone has a m7 emote? I dont see the difference, unless im missing something and it hides half your screen.

Frontline Fury8/21/2019, 12:39:22 AM1 votes

B-but what about their sense of pride and accomplishment?

Elipo8/21/2019, 1:21:27 AM1 votes

these eternals are such a bad idea and it makes too much unnesesary vial clutter, they look tacky af item 3151

El Muñoncitos8/21/2019, 10:57:07 AM1 votes

you cannot flame an opponent but first you could kill him , and express mastery spam. after that now you could ping it to death to tilt them after that you could buy emotes to fuck them and tilt them more soon you could, kill someone, tilt with "eternal rage" and spam emotes+ping+mastery, the enemy flames you calling you a forbidden word=> gets banned by automated bots => less population=> even more RIGGED AND SHIT MATCHMAKING=> PROFIT=>SHITTY GAME
