Hextech Too Strong. Will Be Broken for 4 Weeks.

As usual! The incompetent Deveopers cannot even balance TFT for a week. Let's keep something obviously extremely OP and make it even better for the champions. Trash, small indy company.

Yeah it's complete garbage. Makes sense, though, garbage mechanic for a garbage game for a garbage company.

I personally never liked the idea of a passive that disables ALL the item's mechanics, making a good champion into a useless champion for 8 seconds is a bit overwhelming , but I hope the balance team would someday change it to "Disable's the item's Passive" so the stat's of the item would still be relevant. Rather being completely useless for "8 seconds"

Its just annoyingly strong and just goes on as the enemy item are evolving.

Its like phantom x4 in late game; it takes out even more champs right on start. Go Hextech, go win.

You basically have to configure yourself to something like this: https://i.imgur.com/PGAQK0R.jpg

Keeping item'd units one hex away from each other while at the same time keep your preferred unit in relatively safe positions.

I am not being an advocate for Riot trying to get you to move your units around. But, you are not really suppose to bunch up your units to begin with with champs like Gnar, Chogath, and Sejauni etc,. running opposite to your team. Hex is just the champion equivalent of forcing you not to bunch up your units with items.

If anything at all, it is the ridiculous 8 seconds of disability that makes it aggravating.

Maybe 4 seconds but definitely not f'ing 8! Especially, when some of those items, like Zephyr, auto-lose their initial effect.

just went from 80 health all the way down to zero in the last TWO with the oppoonent having 9 health and hes using hextech ofc.~~ HEXTECH IS FUCKING BROKEN AND IS 100% RUINING THE GAME YOU CLOWNS. TAKE IT OUT OF THE GAME MORONS~

How strong is hextech if you spread your items across multiple champions instead of piling them all on a single carry?

Titanium708/16/2019, 8:59:09 PM2 votes

Hex is annoying but not actually strong. Especially in a beefy Meta like now having 1 or 2 Items disabled for a while doest really matter. And the opponet is giving up an entire synergy because of it.

its okayish but items like zekes or solari are completly useless now, not worth to build anymore

Hextech doesn't seem to be played much in higher elos. On high challenger streams I've watched today, on average one of the top three players runs 2x hextech, and noone runs 4x hextech. I think we should reserve judgment until at least a few days into the patch. Even if it does turn out to be too strong, Riot is pretty proactive about nerfing balance outliers, and we'll have to wait at most a week for it to be changed.

Hey! small indie companies can balance an rpg better than that.

prof TZ8/19/2019, 12:21:12 AM1 votes

I suggest them to limit the disable buff to one single champion or lower the duration. Right now it is just so strong and can break the game with extreme luck.
