Ranked inactivity kicks in this patch?

So I just got a notification that I need to play a ranked game of TFT within 8 days or Decay kicks in. Well... Ranked is disabled for 8 more days, so how am I going to prevent decay? Must've thought about that before this patch hit life right? I didn't know that ranked would be disabled.
