Thoughts about new patch before first try

  • No Olaf nerf :(

  • Singed nerf :)

  • Malphite: 125/200/275 ⇒ 150/300/1000 :O holy jesus christ, mother of god. What is that damage boost? 1000 dmg/ult??? I just built a lvl 3 Malphite yesterday. He didn't fit to my comp, I just needed a tank and I managed to build him into gold unintentionally. After that point he simply solo carried my ass without having good items on him. Now, I don't want to imagine what happens with the right items and this damage boost. Bottom line: buy Malphite anytime you see him because if someone gets him to lvl 3 and it is not you then you can spell gg in chat immediately.

"Flipped the locations of the buy XP and refresh buttons." - Was that really necessary?

"Home Button" - Uhm, you mean besides space? Why do we need two "home buttons"? :S

Crap patch overall... Not even taking the time to give arguments for this.

Olaf nerf is never coming, they've made that abundantly clear.

I keep hearing Olaf is so overpowered on this board but I haven't had any problems with it since his nerf back in Set 1. I think it does well in normal mode or in lower ranks but in mid-gold and up those Glacial Olaf carry comps rarely make it in the top two.

Malphite is T4. 3-starring a T4 champ is very rare. You manage that - GG, lucky you. It's going to be harder now too, since you probably won't be the only one going for it. Just like 3-star Olaf is pretty much a 'once in a blue moon' thing.

Overall, the patch seems to be more good than bad. Eggroll nerf - thank god! PD nerf - was badly needed. New Soulbound stuff - looks interesting. No Olaf nerf - weird, maybe they think it was more PD than Olaf himself? Inferno buff - was it not OP already? I suspect it will be the new meta.
