Are they thinking about changing the ranking system?

Right now you rely on 4 other people each game to decide your rank. While carrying is possible, its not often realistic. Just curious if Riot is planning to release a individual rank system, where you get LP for your personal rank, based on the performance of the player. Perhaps even use the champion mastery system they just put in, refine it, and an S gets you like 10LP and a D- gets you -10.... (numbers just an example)

I know im going to get flamed about something, but its a serious question, this rank system punishes the individual for his teammates actions. this post was brought up by my last two ranked games, in which i had 2 feeding teammates, one afk, and our adc was disconnecting repeatedly.

For solo queue, sure, I could see a system working like that. But in a 5v5, you should gain and lose rating based on how your team does, so like it is now.

Completely agree, a team based situation, where you are premade, and the enemy is premade. should be how it is now. you win and lose as a team.

in solo queue. it needs to change. Ive never seen red text on it though. Riot ignores these posts xD

Eh, anything that doesn't have income potential is irrelevant -- part of why I hate F2P companies. Some developers do still care about quality when they go F2P, but I don't get that vibe from League; just feels like a big cash grab to me.

I dont feel like that.. as much as i feel ignored when complaining about the issues, i still see RIot as a good company. A little greedy, but they give alot back. I just wish they'd update the rank system.

Well, different people have different views on just about everything. I just don't get the whole, "We care about our customers as more than just sources of money." vibe from Riot -- and, honestly, I can't think of a video game company that I do get that vibe from these days; even companies like Nintendo are going down the path of DLC and gating content for a quick buck. : /

Kind of sad what gaming has come to, but, you know, we let it get this way.
