Are they thinking about changing the ranking system?

Right now you rely on 4 other people each game to decide your rank. While carrying is possible, its not often realistic. Just curious if Riot is planning to release a individual rank system, where you get LP for your personal rank, based on the performance of the player. Perhaps even use the champion mastery system they just put in, refine it, and an S gets you like 10LP and a D- gets you -10.... (numbers just an example)

I know im going to get flamed about something, but its a serious question, this rank system punishes the individual for his teammates actions. this post was brought up by my last two ranked games, in which i had 2 feeding teammates, one afk, and our adc was disconnecting repeatedly.
