With Ascension currently front and center as a temporary game mode like URF, what are we going to do about reset champs when we play?
Currently there are too many to simply ban out and when they ascend can become pentakilling horrors. What are some good tactics to try and combat them?
Supportive mage types like Kayle or Lulu can do a lot to prevent the reset train from taking off. High-CC tanks can also do quite well - I've personally taken to using tank Gragas whenever Katarina is left open because I can just boop her out of her ult whenever she tries to get going. Maokai and Rammus are also very good choices.
A tank or support on your team is generally all you need to completely screw over the Yis, Bugs, and Kats.
It's way more important to ban the guys that either take multiple team members to deal with or completely prevent interaction.
I'd absolutely ban Shaco, Poppy, and Maokai before any of the reset champs.
